Cook's Essentials 6.3-qt Stainless Steel Pressure Cooker is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from cooks essentials 6.3 pressure cooker This pot is not easy to use, scorched several meals using this pot. I am a regular pressure cooker user, even know how to use the old fashioned cookers. The pot is difficult to get a seal. I would not recommend this pot I feel like its the beta and it needs tweaking.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Scary I purchased cause I like Cooks Estentials I didn't realize it was stainless steel inside. First time using my chicken burned on pressure cooker. Next time I made corned beef. Didn't burn but the lid came off and I had boiling water everywhere. I know it was locked cause even lifted it up by handle and checked. Metal lids gets very hot so be very careful if you buy this.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Happy I am returning this pressure cooker after using it twice. I had the smaller version and loved it. When it died I bought this to replace it. I am not happy with the release valve. It shoots the steam all over the kitchen and makes a huge mess. My earlier version did not do that.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed With Cook's Essential Pressure Cooker After purchasing this pressure cooker, there's no surprise why the price was so low. There is not much to like about it. First the pressure cooker on the brown setting cooks too hot and food burns very easily. Even when using the "high pressure" setting (no pre-browning), food will leave scorched residue on the bottom of the pot. Second, cleaning the stainless steel pot is a nightmare of a chore mainly because of the burnt-on or scorched food residue. Third, the top of the pressure cooker lid is metal with very little protection from severe burns should a finger or hand touch the lid while the pressure cooker is in use. Fourth, the power cord is no longer detachable and therefore can't be stored in the pot when the pressure cooker is not in use. Fifth, this pressure cooker doesn't make any noise when it has finished pressure cooking. We have to set a timer using the Google Girl to alert us that the pressure cooker has finished. This is our third Cook's Essential pressure cooker. The first unit was great. We still use it. We purchased a second but smaller unit. The metal lid and increased burn risk was its only flaw. This our third pressure cooker has a few pluses the like low and high pressure cooker setting, an easy-to-read front panel, and a finger friendly (from burns) steam-release plunger, however the negatives outweigh and the pluses. This particular Cook's Essential pressure cooker is not recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vest pressure cooker yet I have had over 6 pressure cookers the years. This one is the easyest for me operate and I am blind. I thought that I wouldn't like the stainless pot but I find it is as easy to clean as the nonstick pots. The steam release in the handle is great cause it helps keep you hand from getting splattered when releasing steam. The only thing I would change is putting a dissk in the pot so it can be put on a induction plate to reheat leftovers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought this for my daughter-in-law. I’ve had many pressure cookers so I know how to use them. I was showing my daughter-in-law how to use so we just used water as a test. All seemed fine until it came up to pressure. Then it was shooting out steam and water, even jiggling the release valve did no good. So, we packed it up and went to Target where I bought her an Instant Pot.
