Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Results Nice looking and great CE quality. My first try with chicken was impressive on gas cook top. I used smoker pellets ground down in my Ninja chopper to make smoker saw dust. Just 1 tablespoon did the job. Medium flame. The chicken skin didn’t crisp up so next time I would finish cooking it under the broiler for a few minutes. The taste was smoke flavored and tender moist. I have an outdoor smoker for larger quantity but this is nice to have.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Product But Beware I love this smoker and it’s worked well for me for brisket and Boston butt. I tried boneless chicken breast and it was bad, probably need to work on that recipe. I have a glass top stove and did a little research before buying this and didn’t find anything to indicate it couldn’t be used on my stove. Third time I used it, cracked my stove. So I thought I got a deal on this, but after $220 for a new cooktop, I lost. It’s my fault, but I’d appreciate it if QVC would include warnings/recommendations during presentations - don’t leave out important stuff just to make the sale.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked very well This smoker worked as promised with one small exception. The glass top still let smoke out after i tried to seal it down all around. It smoked my fish very well and took me back to my English childhood of smoked haddock for tea sometimes. I will try to seal the top better next time or go buy a one ring camper hotplate for use outdoors.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Small It’s going back! I have a whole chicken and a Boston butt and Neither will fit in this smoker! The only meat you will be able to smoke in this thing is flat meat like ribs, fish, thighs. Wouldn’t get use out of it! Waste of space!!! Disappointed! Buy a real smoker!!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Be careful! The reason for 2 stars is I feel the pan is well made. Other than that I feel it is a fire risk. I used it to make salmon, following the instructions except I only turned my burner to medium not medium high. I have a GE ELECTRIC stove. After 20 minutes I removed the pan from the burner to find the burner was glowing red and there was a brown baked on stain with black spots in the shape of the pan. It took me using heavy duty oven cleaner twice- once leaving it on for an hour and again overnight and scrubbing with an SOS pad. A scrub sponge used for nonstick pans was not effective. I actually scrubbed so hard I scratched thru the enamel in 2 places. I called QVC and they had someone follow up the next day. That was great, but I can't understand how they can continue to sell this. I don't want to see anyone get hurt. If this happened to me it could happen to anyone and the next time there could be a fire! Buyer beware!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A-MAzing Picked this up at the outlet in 2018 at unbelievable price. In a house, I'd have a regular outdoor smoker, but this works for an apartment. I have the large Cameron but it's rectangular with a metal sliding lid. Not a lot of room, but you can tent it with foil and that does work but it can leak smoke. Though it can be more versatile than this with the foil tent option--add another rack. But, this has more room by design, and is a large square with a glass lid trimmed in silicone. The silicone pretty much seals in all the smoke, but you DO have to seat it. Press firmly along the edges of the lid all around to get a good seal and it's just great. I lose some depth because I elevate the tray above the chips with another rack. I just use the Kingsford or Cowboy Charcoal chips from Home Depot or Lowe's, respectively. I place them in a "cup"or "boat" made of foil so any condensation or liquid overflow doesn't put them "out" and cleanup is easy--just take the cup out. Food has really nice smoked flavor. It's definitely not faint or like adding liquid smoke. Plus, you can mix chips for different flavors.
