Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not great for me The book arrived with no damage. The recipes look easy and cover a wide variety so there is something for everyone. My disappointment came when there was no nutritional info offered. The recipes are not "healthy" and should be used only when in a pinch. I just expected both info and "healthy". Neither claim was ever voiced, I just expected both. I gave 4 stars because of this but I can't find fault with the book. Definitely supermarket shortcuts but not ingredients I usually have in my pantry. I do enjoy David and watch him all the time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Damaged Book and Disappointing Recipes Well even though my book was wrapped the spine on my book is split and ripped. After paging through the book other than the Potsticker soup which is one of the main reasons I ordered this cookbook, there is nothing special at all in the rest of the recipes......at all. I might not consider myself a huge "foodie" however all the recipes I use in my home, and I cook from scratch 5 days a week are much better than these recipes. I am very disappointed in the content and condition of the book. I must say over the past 7+ months so many items I have ordered from QVC have been received damaged, not to mention this book was to ship out on 11/27 and it just came this morning 12/8, looking at the tracking, shipment info was received by USPS on 11/27 but was not handed off to the USPS until 12/3!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hoping for Down home Cooking I was looking for down home cooking not Asian or what ever some of the recipes were. Wanted more appetizers and quick recipes. Not at all impressed with all the expensive cuts of meat and dessert sections. This was my first David's cookbook and was not happy. Most of the recipes my family would not try and don't like many of the ingredients. Beets and feta cheese are not favorites in my kitchen. No happy dance today. Rosebud, Pittsburgh, PA

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An Every Day Cookbook FINALLY. A cookbook that is truly for every day use. This book has exceeded my expectations. So many cookbooks claim to be easy and affordable recipes but are not. This is the real deal. This will get a lot of use in my house. I'm dying to try the ranch roasted chicken! Thank you for making a cookbook with recipes that are practical for day to day life.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not What I Expected Received the cookbook was not sealed like some others have said the cover was off and folded. Some of the recipes are on his page. The seafood section not great do not eat as I thought David did not. Anyone can open a can of soup very disappointed David in this book. Your first book was the best of the three. I do not have an air fryer or slow cooker. Sorry David was so looking forward to this book. I sent back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy With shortcuts But....... My book came with two corners on top bent. I think it was the fault of the ones who designed the size of the package. book was a little loose in the package. Or not heavy enough cardboard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from C M Just Very nice book. Glad it has supermarket shopping list and easy recipes. Love watching David on Sunday's and Wednesday nights. Congratulations to him on 25years. I just wish my book was signed. I ordered when they first announced we could order. Otherwise very satisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More Please! David, thank you. I LOVE to cook. But nearly 20 yrs ago, I had 12 pieces of bone removed from the first 6 vertebra in the back of my neck along with part of my skull due to a birth defect. 6 yrs ago, two discs were removed from the front of my neck, fused, a titanium plate was inserted and my doctor found a spinal cord injury at two levels. I have a number of problems with my spine as well. Baking and cooking had always been a form of relaxation for me as well as a connection to my grandmother. As you can imagine, my time in the kitchen has been greatly diminished. These supermarket short cuts will help me to get back to a great love again. My husband and I loved the Creamy French Onion Chicken Casserole. I know can use this cookbook often - not just on days where I feel well enough to complete more labor intensive dishes, which isn't often anymore. I know this just came out, but please consider another! I'm sure there are others in similar situations.
