Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the right part We had a Coleman chest that could be used to cook or warm food for about 20 years. The converter went out and we needed one quickly. Coleman had one for a very reasonable price that works great. We received it in short turn around time. Very happy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Power Supply Works Bought this power supply to replace one I picked up that was inoperable at a second hand store along with a new PowerChill cooler. The cooler appeared to have never been used and appeared to have been returned to the store it came from because the converter was bad. I ordered the new converter which was the exact one in appearance to the one that came with the cooler. The new converter worked when tested and the cooler chilled. The photo is not the same as the one I received but who cares as long as it works.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 120 Volt power supply died almost immediately I plugged it in by itself and the red light came on so I knew it was working. I unplugged it and connected it to the coolers 12 Volt plug and plugged it in and Viola! the little fan was spinning. So, I unplugged the adapter and turned the cord to warming instead of cooling and it ran for a few minutes and stopped. I figured it must have got the fridge to temperature and turned off... Nope! I tried everything but it seems the adapter will only work for the cooler not the warmer. I started thinking OH NO! did my cooler burn out and rushed out to the car and plugged it to my lighter and it was working fine in both heat and cool modes. So, I do not recommend buying this adapter for keeping food warm.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good - but expensive Works great, but I do think it's over-priced for a cord.
