Description
What is it: More than sun protection. This new innovative face cream features SolarSmart technology that helps protect skin from the aging and burning effects of both UVA and UVB rays--something not all sunscreens do. It has an official seal of approval, too: it's recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation.

Who is it for: Anyone who wants to help protect skin from the damaging effects of the sun with high-level UVA/UVB protection.

Why is it different: With new stabilized UVA defense, you're protected longer. And, because it's fragrance-free, it's safe enough for those with sensitive skin.

How do I use it: Apply liberally before sun exposure and as needed. Reapply every two hours or after towel drying, swimming, or perspiring. Consult with a doctor before using on children under six months of age.

From Clinique.

Clinique Sun SPF 50 Face Cream, 1.7 fl oz is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 130.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average This sunscreen is lightweight and gentle on the skin and doesn't cause me to break out but makes my skin quite "greasy". Not suitable for oily combination skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth the price I was apprehensive to purchase this product due to the price, but because of my previous success with Clinique I decided to splurge, and I am so happy I did! It does not cause me to break out, I don't feel greasy when it is on, and the bottle is a very convenient size to toss in a purse if you are heading out for the day. I have always struggled to find a face sunscreen that I am happy with, but I am proud to say I have finally found it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent sunscreen; Can be used as makeup primer I live in Las Vegas. Obviously, wise folks use a lot of sunscreen and I have tried them all. I love love love this product for use on my face and neck. When you use this facial sunscreen, you don't need a makeup primer. Your makeup applies smoothly. Highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only sunscreen I use on my face I used hats and avoided sunscreen on my face for ten years since it always made me breakout. This is the first that didnt. I use it all summer now and it doesnt affect my face. Maybe slightly oily but no breakouts!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A bit pricey Its so sticky and i really have to wait for minutes for it to absorb my skin before i can apply the bronzer. A clot of the cream comes out every time you squeeze to use it and you have to remove it before applying. It means youre wasting some everytime you use it. Think its just so expensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a surprise! As I have dry sensitive skin, I was advised to use a mineral sunscreen. Both the City Block SPF25 and SPF30 Oil-free Face Cream gave me the worst red bumps and pimples. The salesgirl at the Clinique counter at the Bay suggested this product. At first I was hesitant as it was a chemical, not mineral sunscreen, but I've had a challenge finding a sunscreen that worked on my face. She gave me a sample and what a surprise! It worked like a charm. My skin was protected after a full day at the amusement park with the kids and NO irritation! I liked it so much I ordered a full size right away. As I said in a previous review, sometimes "standard advice" (mineral sunscreen for sensitive skin) doesn't work for everyone.
