A must have in your arsenal.
I've been using toners and such for a very long, long time. I never thought I could find one that would do what this one does. I use this when I get out of the shower. It allows my skin to feel brilliantly fresh and clean. Some toners feel a little sticky, or too moisturizing. This one feels like an antiseptic but doesn't dry out the skin no matter how much you use. It does make the face stubble softer, and opens up the pores. I look forward to putting this on everyday!

I have been using this for about 30 years, IT WORKS! In summer I sometimes use the 3.5 as my skin gets a bit more oily. It keeps skin clean, clear and fresh. To prove a point, try this: After washing swipe some scruffing lotion over the back of your neck. Yes it removes the grime that washing alone can`t. Great stuff.

Great!
I received a three-step skin care system free from the Clinique counter at a department store when I was in college in 1994. I never would have thought to purchase scruffing lotion from Clinique. How could it be better than something from a drug store? It was and is! It cleans my skin without drying it out. No other toner I've used does that. I love this product and have been using it for almost 20 years.

Shaves are closer
Tones my skin and is a great shave preparation. Even with an electric shaver my shaves are closer. Am seeking dramatic results using the 3-step program. after only a few days.
