“KIS”
I prefer to keep my life and make-up simple up here in the PNW. I start with good skin care so I can go with or without make-up. Mine is 69 years old and it’s porcelain with blue undertones. Like most women, I have tried a gazillion brands and colors over the years with varing luck, but this one is a keeper!
Clinique's “Almost Lipstick” is just as it is hinted at. It is not a gloss and is not a lipstick. It’s a thin, smooth, and translucent color without the stickiness of gloss or the thickness of lipstick. (It’s not a stain either.)
It simply and translucently colors. It heightens the natural color of my lips! Whether I am wearing lip color for date night, a little, or no make-up, my mouth looks alive and open to living healthy.
I don't know how it works on other women, and I would usually never choose this color in a regular gloss or lipstick for myself, but it works fabulously for me in this formulation.
I am now keeping it simple with this one tube of “Almost Lipstick” and color. It's the best ever! It's KIS! And I love it!

Who hasn't heard of Clinique black honey???? Goodness, I started wearing this in jr high - I'm 50! There just is no other product that duplicates this mysterious hue of color that looks good on everyone.
Its sheer, has just the right amount of moisture- and so portable. In a pinch - I dab it on my cheeks or lids- brings real color back to skin of any kind. Can't say enough about it. And I see - after 40 years, gasp they have raised the price 2 bucks. Lol. Clinique is top notch in everything.

Adequate
I don't like dark lipstick colors so thought this would work. But, it's too dark for me but probably not considered too dark for others. Though I consider this a dark lipstick color for me it's not too bad for a dark color - seems softer and more natural looking than most dark colors. It's not moisturizing - will need a moisturizing top coat.

Too purple
This is really almost a lipstick. It's hydrating with the sheerest amount of color. If it wasn't so purple, I'd like it. Recommend for brunettes with olive or white skin. Didn't work with my very fair, redheaded coloring.

Great feel on lips but need better design
This feels lovely on the lips, but it's a major effort to get tube to release enough for even one application. It's basically a lip gloss made into a tube, and that's a great concept.You just have to pump it so many times. The product itself is great, and I like the idea that I don't need my fingers to apply.
