Surprised!
I had my doubts when I received this item since it is so lightweight. It arrived just 2 days before my week long trip to the beach. It surprised me by performing like a champ. It is lightweight and easy to set up in the sand. I like the small hammer. I only used mine standing up. It has the important vents to allow wind to flow without turning inside out. It survived 7 days on a gulf coast beach and I didn't get burned.
I am happy!!
I hope that they make a larger version. In the meantime, my husband & I will continue to use our 2 Quadrabrellas.

Never got to actually use it--
I had this sent directly to my daughter and her family as a gift, and one of the plastic corners broke off just taking it out of the packaging. So disappointing! They are going to exchange it and try again, but not too optimistic that the next one will be sturdier.

Not a good beach umbrella
The first time we used this umbrella on our beach vacation, it broke. It will not hold up in the sea breeze, we even had it tied down with the stakes. Cost way too much for the quality. Very flimsy and it is going back.
