Me, too!
I had a similar problem with the exterior leather peeling and not looking well. I read the reviews and found out that I am not the only one to experience this issue. I hope Clark addresses & corrects the issue, the style and comfort is great.

Ridiculously comfortable, but awful leather
I bought these back in December as my main pair of work shoes. I work in a traditional office setting so I’m not on my feet much. They are soooo comfortable to wear, BUT like many of the other reviews on here, the leather on the outside is peeling and it looks awful. I will keep wearing them because I have a hard time finding shoes I don’t have to break in and feel comfortable from day one, but I am always conscious about how cheap the leather looks. I’ve had many pairs of Clark’s over the years ranging from their traditional clogs to boots, heels, and flats. These are the worst quality I’ve ever bought - on the outside. Worth the comfort but not the aged appearance.

Bad leather
I bought these shoes for work. They are very comfortable but, like other reviews, the leather is peeling off. I would like to get another pair but, after reading the other reviews, I'm afraid it will just happen again

Extremely comfortable but poor quality
It was silly of me to assume that a high price tag and a guarantee of "real leather" would make for a lasting pair of shoes. My shoes were so comfortable when I got them, I thought that I had nothing to worry about. But after a month of light wear (in an office), I started to get some scratches. As time went on, the scratches got worse and worse, and I realized that there was some kind of coating on the shoes to disguise the poor quality leather. I have worn these shoes a few times a week over the course of a few months, and the black coating is flaking off. This is disgraceful.

So comfortable that I can wear all day!
I've had these shoes for over a year now. I'm inspired to write a review because they are so comfortable. I'm actually on the site to buy another pair of shoes because these are so comfortable. I wear heels probably once a month so I'm not used to them but these are awesome. Thank you for making such a beautiful shoe that is so comfortable. These will be your go-to shoe!
I wear a 6.5 and that is the size I ordered and it fits perfectly!
These wear well too. They are not dinged up. Holding up great. I bet I've worn them 25 times.

Great fit, bad outer
This shoe is amazingly comfortable for days on your feet (as a flight attendant). I can’t believe how good my feet still feel at the end of a day. But soooo disappointed with the appearance. The outside “leather” started pealing off after the first week. And after 3 months I’m embarrassed to wear them...if it weren’t for the comfort. A friend purchased the same shoe and had the same issue. At over $100, this is really not acceptable. Wrote the company but they did not respond.

Worst shoes ever
I didn’t read the reviews on these shoes because I know Clark shoes. I have worn them for over 15 years 5days a week. But these shoes are terrible. Went back and read the reviews because my shoe leather was peeling off. Well apparently everybody else is experiencing the same problem.
