Rated 1 out of 5 by from Folding side hinge broke Work ok for awhile. One hinge on the folding top broke in short order. Became useless after that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Popcorn Popper Ever I love this popcorn popper! I bought this for myself first then I bought one for my mom and also a friend. I wish I can buy one for my sister but they are not in stock right now. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing it. The paper towel trick is awesome. Leaves just a few kernels in the bottom. It's very light and fluffy! I recommend this popper to anyone who loves popcorn!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing This is great if you want frustration and disappointment. It is very hard to keep closed while moving to microwave. This is not worth the money at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works For Me!! Mine arrived today and I just gave it a run in my 1000 Watt Carousel Microwave. It performed very well and made great popcorn using the Farmer Jon's Yellow popcorn. Yes, there were 8 unpopped kernels and about 6 popped kernals that came out of the top during the initial popping, but there were only 3 unpopped kernels in the popper when the popping was finished. No big deal as there is no oil or anything in the popper so it was easy to remove the 'spillover' from the microwave, and the popper is so very easy to clean, just a rinse in hot water works great! I'll try using a folded paper towel as another reviewer suggested next time. For those who have had problems such as those who put the seasonings in before popping, just put the popcorn in, pop them, and when finished add the seasonings. I was surprised that the popcorn started popping so fast, faster than another microwave popper I have from QVC that also works very well and I use often!! Also nice is that you don't have to do a full batch, just use less popcorn kernels for a personal size serving!! I'm happy with this Chef'n Steam Release Microwave Popcorn Popper with Seasonings. Oh, the seasonings are very tasty, I wish QVC would offer replacements of them, but in the mean time, I can surely make my own!! I also like the Ecolution Microwave popper and the Stir Crazy Popper and the pre packaged corn/seasonings/oil packets K131864. I use them all, just depends on my mood at the time I want some tasty popcorn I can get from all these great QVC products!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mine Was Broken! I followed the instructions to the tee, put the popcorn and the seasoning in. I had a hard time closing the lid (looked easy on tv) but I closed it. It started popping and some of the popcorn came flying out of the top not a lot. It had a few kernels left. Then the popcorn didn’t pop correctly after giving it 4/5 minutes. I used a well known brand popcorn which pops perfectly in a pan or an air popper. I’m glad I got it at a discount because it’s not worth any amount of money. The idea was nice but it doesn’t work.
