Great telescope, great value!
I bought this as a gift for my husband, and he is thrilled with it. It is much more impressive than the photo. It's pretty heavy duty, and the tripod is sturdy. It didn't take him long to set it up, and took a little more time to calibrate. He found videos online that were more helpful than the instructions in the box. I chose this one because you can see pretty far for the price that you pay, it's made for both land and sky viewing, and it's still portable so he can take it out to the desert to see more stars. He has been having a great time looking at boats on the ocean in the day and the moon and planets at night. This is a great buy!

I got this for my 11 year old grandson. I am jealous, though. I would love one for me too.
