Canon Rebel SL2 DSLR Camera with 18-55mm, 75-300mm Lenses and Accessories is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent YouTube Creator DSLR! I bought this camera for my YouTube videos on my YouTube Channel. I got a recommendation from Sean Cannell with Think Media on YouTube. He said it was an excellent YouTube and VLOG camera, and I have to agree wholeheartedly! And, it is a great straight photography camera as well! I have been a photographer for over 40 years, and it works perfectly for my needs!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent camera package, excellent price I had the Canon Dslr sl1 when it came out in 2013. Loved it but I wanted to give it to my teenage son now and get myself a new camera. When I saw the sl2 it was a no brained and the cost was what I paid 5 years ago but this camera has some upgrades. If you want a high quality camera that has the ease of point and shoot but also the option of completely manual this is a great option. The clarity is awesome. I take photos for pleasure and people often want to buy them. I love how light weight it is to hold. Get it! It is awesome that it comes with everything you need to get started. Just charge the battery that comes with it and get started. It comes with a memory card too that you may want to upgrade with time if you shoot video with it, but you can get started with 16gb for sure.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Perfect starter camera! This camera was one of the best purchases I have made. The camera itself is probably the best out there to start with. The touch screen is great and its swiveling hinge is an extra bonus. The EF-compatible mount lets you invest in full frame lenses possibly for your next camera. The only problem I have is with the included lens. Its focus ring has a very rough and strange feel to it. I don't believe this is just mine either, I looked it up and found many other people reporting the same problem. It wasn't too much of a deal for me though because I typically just use the autofocus, which makes up for it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Entry Level DSLR at a Great Price I purchased this in mid-November 2017 for even less than the current sale price (just under 7 Benjamins). Even at the regular price this is a good deal, particularly with Easy Pay and/or the 9-month special financing. I'm still learning the camera (there are a lot of buttons and options!), but I'm very impressed so far. the touch-screen LCD is great, the guided shooting mode and guided menus are super helpful, and so is the included DVD. I love that this kit includes an STM lens. The 18-55mm lens is an STM lens, which is great for capturing video. STM stands for Stepper Motor and is a type of autofocus motor built into the lens. Typically, STM lenses are quieter when they auto-focus, which is good when recording video. The included case holds everything nicely and appears to be well-made. I highly recommend watching the included DVD as there is a lot of great information and how-to's provided. This was really well-done and is only about 30 minutes long. I also am reading and highly recommend David Busch's Canon EOS Rebel SL2/200D Guide to Digital SLR Photography. Fantastic book so far with far better information than the included manual. The manual is good, but David's book is great for beginners to DSLR and this book specifically focuses on this camera and lens kit (minus the 75-300 lens). The included SD card won't get you far at all. It is recommended to get at least a 64GB or 128GB card. I recommend the SanDisk Extreme Pro 256GB SDXC UHS-I Card. This is perfect for all you YouTube vloggers! Overall, this is a great camera kit at a decent price. This camera is respected in the industry as a great entry-level DSLR.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Video I got this camera as a replacement for my canon T5 to film skateboarding and snowboarding this things auto focus was the best, it didn't make noise when i was focusing and it made a good camera for follow cam and slow-mo. Over all this is a great camera I definitely recommend for new to intermediate users.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this camera! Bought the SL2 as my first DSLR and couldn't be happier with my decision. I like to snap photos of my children, also ocean and landscapes. This is an excellent DSLR for beginners.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent camera in a tiny package I bought SL2 as a backup for my Canon 6D. The JPEG colors produced by this camera are exceptionally good. The camera is very easy to use even for a newbie. 9-point AF system is simple and sufficient for most families shooting pictures of their family events. DPAF provides excellent control for shooting video and taking pictures in Live View. Live View is so easy that one wouldn't find the 9-point AF as a limiting factor anymore. A note for vloggers: this is the cheapest DPAF-enabled camera with external mic input, as of today in the market. Electronic Image Stabilization that was introduced in T7i is missing in SL2; however, it was missing from the much costlier vlogger-favorite 80D too. Honestly, I am picking up my SL2 more often than my 6D for shorter trips and that's definitely because of the size & weight factor. I would definitely recommend this camera, especially for it being so light weight, ease of use, great Canon colors and excellent video auto-focus.
