Canon PowerShot Elph 190 IS w/ 8GB SD Card & Carry Case is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I expected... So sad that this little camera is not what I expected. If you are doing a close-up of something, it's great... but the zoom is not so great. I have not decided if I am going to return it or not. And it's really a shame because I was So excited about ordering this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed The camera is small and lightweight, that’s only thing I like about it. The picture quality isn’t great. Sometimes it’s blurry or the pictures come out too dark. Just a waste of money for me. I’m only keeping it because I don’t want to deal with the hassle of returning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WiFi perfect I put the date in, charged battery, put card in and ready to go. Called Canon and in 10 minutes on WiFi. I have an Apple 8 plus phone. Wonderful to connect to WiFi and used over New Year’s Day. Love love it. Call canon instead of struggling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this camera! I have had this camera for a year now and love it! Easy to use and no messing around. Love it for taking pics of my little grandson. I always have it in my purse no matter where I go in case I need to take a pic. For the money this is a great little camera!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not very impressed I can't believe that the door that holds the sd card and battery, doesn't close well. I'm debating about returning it. I wouldn't recommend it- I have big cameras but thought this would be great to use instead of my iphone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BROKEN WHEN RECEIVED I've had many Canon point-n-shoot cameras, so I know how to work them. I received this and the red color was nice; the package included a little case, strap and even a memory card, which was nice. I charged the battery as directed. When I tried to load the battery in, it was difficult to close the trap door holding it and the SD card in. Not wanting to break it, I gently struggled with it. The trap door on it is exactly the same as the Canon PowerShots I have (I upgrade every few years) - so I know what I was doing. I finally got the trap door closed, battery was fully charged, battery and SD card were loaded properly (they won't go in if you put them in wrong), and I went to turn it on. Nothing. Nada. Zip. Camera didn't budge, didn't turn on, didn't light up - nothing! I took everything out again, and charged the battery some more. Reinserted everything, again struggling with the trap door - turned it on. Nothing. Since the trap door was clearly misaligned, I had already decided to send it back, so the fact that it wouldn't turn on was the nail in the coffin. I sent it back the next day and asked for a replacement. I got a credit instead, because the red was out of stock. VERY disappointed in Canon's quality control in not seeing that this camera worked before selling it. That all being said, this is the very first time I have had any trouble with a small camera like this, especially from Canon. And, the return policy from QVC was fantastic - no mess, no fuss, just return, get credit. I'm sorry I don't have that little red camera!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice pictures..but..... Before you buy this camera...ck to see if you phone is NFC supported. You can ck with an AP on google. If not...like me, you'll be out of luck trying to share your photos to your phone. I have a MOTO 5 PLUS. (not even 1 year old)It takes good pics (12 mgpix) but I wanted better pics. This camera has 20mgpix. This point should have been made during the presentation. I tried to use the CANON IMAGE GATEWAY as directed in the manual to send pics to my email and pull them to my phone that way through wi-fi. I went through all the steps 5 times only to find the site is not working. I checked, and found many complaints about it. It's a shame Canon hasn't fixed this problem...still it's a nice little camera, simple to use, and takes good pictures. There's no view port..you can only use the screen. I'm not sure if I'll be keeping it or not..as it's not doing what I need it to do. As it stands, I'll have to download to my home computer, send an email to myself, to get it to my phone..????
