Bowflex TC100 TreadClimber is rated 2.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Game Changer My husband bought me this machine 3 years ago and it has been a game changer for me. I lost 40 lb in the first 5 months of working out on it. As with anything, once you stop using it and jump back into your old habits, you have problems but that's not the machine's fault, that's my fault LOL. I have really bad knees and a bad back due to carrying excess weight so I needed something very low impact. It will kick your behind! If you walk on it, even if it's just for 10 minutes you will feel the burn (even going slow.) I'm not sure what everyone else's problem with their machine was, but I haven't had any major issues with mine and my whole family uses it pretty regularly including my son who is 11 years old. One time, my screen was reading funny, but i called Bowflex and they told me what to do and it was instantly fixed-plus they were really nice. We bought ours through Bowflex and if it ever conks out on us, we will definitely buy another one. Probably the upgraded one TC 200. If you will work for it, it will work for you. I plan on losing the rest of my weight using my TreadClimber and my Max trainer from Bowflex. Just give it a try you won't regret it. I recommend it to everyone young and old because all you're doing is walking. I don't work for the company and don't receive anything from this review. I just really love my TreadClimber. It hurts to pay for it, but it is worth the investment.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BUYER BEWARE I purchased this through the Bowflex company slightly over a year ago for in excess of $2000. It has been non stop problems with this machine from day 1. Within the first week the motor was making a high whining sound. When I called Customer service they stated it was "normal" and refused to send out a tech (I was still covered for parts and labor). BTW- labor is only covered for 90 days. Several months later the walking decks started creaking and a telephone diagnosis by Bowflex (this is all they offer) advised me they were warped and mailed me the parts to assemble myself (or pay $150 service visit). Several months after that the machine shut down entirely with a malfunction stating the "safety key" was not engaged. Once again after a "telephone diagnosis" I was shipped an upper console that houses the safety key (minus the electric panel that goes with it) and I opted to pay for a service call. They assured me I would be covered if their "telephone diagnosis" was incorrect and I required another part and repair visit. Alas, the serviceman came and the problem was not solved. Now they are mailing me the electric panel and expect me to replace it on my own or pay for another service call (in spite of the previous promise that I would be covered). Plus, the service tech noticed that the Bowflex professional assembly that I paid for was incorrect- things were put on backwards and screws were missing. HORRIBLE customer service- they misdiagnose and expect you to keep paying for repair visits until they get it right (or you give up, I suppose). Save your money and avoid the aggravation. I am now exploring my legal options against this company.
