Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good quality sound, but lets in background noise I normally go for in-ear headphones about half this price, but was looking for something better. I got it with the sound quality in these headphones (very good), but they are almost unusable for me. First, I'm used to in-ear headphones that just plug right into your ears. The StayHear buds are a little fussy to put in. I'm sure I'll get quicker over time, but it's definitely not easy like most in-ear headphones. I wouldn't mind that if they were comfortable or more secure, but they don't feel as comfortable as in-ear buds that fit right into your ear canal, instead of hanging almost in... And honestly, while they aren't in any danger of falling out, they don't feel anymore secure than a $10 pair of in-ear headphones. Seems over-engineered and pointless to me. The biggest problem is that it doesn't seal your ear canal, like most in-ear headphones. That means all the background noise comes through. When I'm working out of a cafe, they are just useless. I had to listen in to a meeting and had to turn the computer sound up to 80%. Gave me a headache and I still couldn't hear properly, because the background noise came right through. With my $30 Sony in-ear headphones I only need the sound at 20% and the background noise is virtually gone, because it seals the ear canal. And yes, I've tried all three sizes and none of them are right. I understand that earphones can't fit everyone, but I personally have never had problems with any other in-ear headphones. This is a first for me and not what I was expecting when I forked out more money than normal.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not last 2 years Have had these for 1.5 years now- the cable has come apart at the end. The headphones have now stopped working in one ear. Shame for such expensive headphones. I have not done anything forceful with them. Used them for basic jogs, on the bus etc.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Was perfect, now broken. These headphones were my absolute favourite purchase until they broke. They look fantastic, cancel out sound well and have fantastic sound quality. However, I did spend a lot of money on the earphones and expect them to last. After just over a year and 6 months my ear phones began to have issues. The sound quality remains of a high standard, however when I use them with my MacBook and IPhone many issues occur: - Music randomly begins to play constantly. Each time I nudge the earphones songs are skipped, paused or played. It interrupts applications I use and is disruptive. -Siri is activated randomly. It paused applications and mutes skype. -Volume is altered constantly and becomes extremely loud. I believe the wires inside the earphones have become faulty. This is extremely annoying, the earphones become useless as they pause applications and skip music I listen to. I would recommend these earphones if you intend to use them for a few months, not for long term use. There is no visible damage to the earphones, no chance of water damage and I have insured to keep them out of harm’s way. It’s really disappointing they no longer work, I wish they could be replaced as these were my favourite earphones.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Needs to improve on the cable The headphones are really great but the cable loses it’s toughness and starts to weaken and breaks exposing the wires
