Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Satisfied I got these about a month ago and I am not happy with them at all. There is nothing “noise canceling “ about them at all. I hear all types of ambient noise regardless of my surroundings. I have been a fan of BOSE for years and these are by far their worst headphones/ earbuds I’ve seen. Can’t believe they put out a product this poor. I think it’s time to give Sony a try.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quiet indeed! It makes me want to listen to more music! Listening to books is more fun. Even a boring novel sounds interesting. Traffic noises are cancelled out and all cars sound like electric vehicles.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Premium Price for less than Premium Quality I owned the headphones for about two years. Purchased through Best Buy with extended warranty, glad I did. The sound was nice (nothing over the top but decent), the noise cancellation was good (travel a lot and they were good for airplane travel), and they were portable. Having calls with this thing was impossible, everybody complained when I was talking. Mic picks up too much background noise. I just gave up and stopped using it for calls. The construction quality was bad. The rubber from the neck band was coming off from multiple sides. Rubber from the earpiece was coming off as well. Sometimes I would get some loud static for a couple of seconds every now and then. Towards the end, I noticed that I would charge the unit till full, then when I went to use them later they said 50% battery. This didn't happen all the time but it was annoying when it did. I really wanted to like them but for the price point, they should be way better than this. Bose fan, but the cons outweigh the pros. I will probably switch to the new Sony's.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost Perfect Sound and functionality is excellent. The neckband on the other hand is awful; it doesn't stay centered and can be uncomfortable as well as annoying.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sounds fine - but not durable, replaced 4x I bought the QC30s the week they came out c. Nov 2016. Sounds quality is fine. Noise cancellation is just OK, these can't be compared to my old QC-15s or my newer QC-35's, but comparing ear buds phones to over-the-ear headsets is not fair anyway. Microphone is poor. The problem with the QC30s is that BUILD QUALITY IS POOR. I have replaced these *four times* in 22 months! (IMPERATIVE: buy a warranty plan!!) The failures have been: (1) the rubber at the tips of the neckband comes loose and flaps around, exposing the inside of the headset; and (2) the power switch fails. Of all the Bose products I've owned over 20 years -- multiple speaker systems, three headphones -- this is the only Bose product I would review negatively. IMHO, this product should be discontinued until it is redesigned to be more durable (and has a better quality microphone).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really great headphones I've had these headphones for almost a year now and they are some of the best headphones I have ever had. I commute everyday on a commuter train and these headphones are great for cancelling the noise on the train. They have a really rich sound and deep bass that makes listening to music and podcasts great. They connect really easily to my phone or computer and have this nice feature where they tell you the battery when you turn them on. The only real draw back to these headphones is the neckband. It isn't the most comfortable to wear and sometimes gets twisted around your neck, but the sound quality of these headphones far outweighs the discomfort of the neckband.
