Bose Hearphones Conversation Enhancing Headphones is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 93.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Constant Companion I was at a loud party. One of those where a client has rented out a bar. Music is playing at max volume, and the bar is filled with people. All talking. I couldn't hear a thing. I got my hearing tested. Diminished in the upper ranges, but not ready for hearing aids. This is the great in-between. Perfect for loud parties. Perfect on an airplane. The noise-cancelling is wonderful. Highly recommended.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Overall I'm pretty happy I'm youngish and pretty tech savvy so when my hearing starting going bad I was embarrassed to get hearing aids. I got the traditional style with a bluetooth feature and they were ok. But I love listening to music and use my phone a lot so I got feedback that the traditional bluetooth/hearing aid was horrible to callers on the other end. When I saw that Bose had an option and that it looks like standard neck headphones and at a significant cost savings compared to traditional aids I figured i'd give it a shot. They are comfortable and very customizable and the sound is very good. Those are great positives. The negatives- 1. Within 6 months the rubber ends of the neck thing started separating (see photo). I don't abuse them, and the worst conditions they were in was a vacation to DC and NYC where I wore them constantly in the muggy heat. 2. battery life could be a little better (for a typical work day, you need 7am-7pm use so when it cuts out after around 8 hours, it's very inconvenient) 3. Of the three listening modes- after about 6 months only one of them was working right. 4. The volume seems much lower than it used to be (assuming that my hearing hasn't diminished in the past six months) 5. The power button is now a pain to trigger! That's actually a big issue. So in summary, you could spend the normal price for traditional hearing aids or one-sixth that for these... They sound great when they're working, the just aren't as durable as they need to be.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great function and value; collar falls apart I've been using my Hearphones for over a year now (bought them the instant they became available for online purchase). The functionality is quite good; far better than any hearing aids I've tried and at about 20% of the cost. Love the app; love the bluetooth functionality; LOVE the sound quality when listening to music or video; use it for phone calls; best of all, I can now hear the voices of female family members and quiet coworkers. Downside: the rubber sheath has separated from the collar where the power switch is; it peeled like a banana, away from the switch and the LED indicators. Now, to even turn it on, I have to peel it back and press the internal microswitch with a fingernail. I'm afraid I am going to have to replace the hearphones soon. I just hope that Bose can improve the collar assembly, because I don't want to have to replace my hearing solution annually.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from doesn't stay on with older people ears Bought this for my father, everything seems very good, he seems can hear much better. But the problem is he has quit flat ears, and non of the sizes fits him, (i also broke the ring of one of them when trying to change it, not a easy job) it will be good if there's a ear hook like many of the earbuds and more different ways of the silicon mods, or my father would actually prefer a headphone version like the the 30. and if i would use it, it's not as good sounding as the quitecontrol 35 which i compared, somehow the music sounds muffed compared to quietcontrol 30 and obvious cannot compare to my shure 846, but they are different species, and the voice call and mics are excellent, which i think the 30 can also do at half the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The next step above QC30 I bought these about a month ago. My hearing is declining as I age. I'm on the road a lot, which includes very loud parties. I can once again hear the females in my life, hear what's really said on TV, and communicate at loud parties. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent For What They Do! Tested these in my work environment which is a constant 120+ db of sound. Also flew many times with them and they are amazing! But the main reason I bought them was to be in a loud environment and be able to hear voices directly in front of me. Took some adjustments but they work fantastic! Battery life is great too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The versatility of this product is amazing. I purchased hearing aids in 2009. They cost over $4,000. I have a significant hearing loss from nerve deafness. The hearing aids did a good job of enhancing my hearing. I used them for several years until they just stopped functioning. I was considering looking into new hearing instruments. I’m a big Bose fan and read about Hearphones in an email Bose sent me. Long story short, I purchased them two weeks ago and I’m blown away. I can hear again. I’m still learning things about them and l haven’t mastered the side controls yet, but they have changed my life. They are fantastic.
