Bob Mackie's Ruffle Sleeve Woven Crepe Jacket is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunning Jacket This jacket is open yet has more weight than you'd expect in a crepe jacket. It's flattering on the fuller figure and I wish I had another color. I noticed that information said it runs large, so choose accordingly, but my regular size was on track for the fit I desire and the description reported a generous cut. The sleeves are not thin or droopy or floppy to drag in food and the length is perfect. It's gorgeous and well-made. It's one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe and the perfect jacket for movies, plays, concerts or any venue where the a/c can require a wrap. I wore it over I. Mizrahi black lace dress to a function and got so many compliments. I got the one in the muted rose color. I also wore it with crop pants over a print blouse--so pretty. I am completely satisfied with the jacket. I wish I'd been able to do a full length photo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely Jacket&suit I like the material which is more like a voile type material.Yes,the jacket is a bit roomy, but I can fix anything I need fixing.I have the entire outfit and this jacket looks best with the top attached at the very top so I will sew a clamp-like hook and eye on the top inside.I never tuck anything in,but amazingly, the outfit looks best with the tank tucked in and the top hooked. The pants fit perfectly,I did raise the hem 1.5 inches to my liking. This is a lovely outfit.I got the celadon. There were no wrinkles on my pieces.I have a skirt in a different shade of green that looks great with these pieces. This outfit is slimming and the jacket could be said to be larger than normal, but a round in the dryer would shrink this material but I dare not do that.I will adjust anything that needs adjusting because I have no plans to send this back.I like the material and the outfit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just ok I ordered this entire outfit - pants, jacket and shell. The jacket style was cute but I didn't care for the fabric.Had it been a plain crepe, it would have been very nice. This fabric is "crinkled" and looks matronly to me. The pants were big in the hips in my size L but I am narrow in the hips so that is no one's fault. I would say the suit is very true to size. I was delivered the jacket in a separate large box but it arrived very wrinkled anyway. I returned the outfit because I didn't care for the fabric.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor fit I ordered the entire outfit of the navy jacket, top and pants in a small; my height is 5'3". The fit of the jacket and pants are not right on me, with the proportion of the jacket oversized and the pants baggy. This outfit looks terrible on me. Often I buy the Bob Mackie blouses and tops and they look great, however, the fabric and fit of this outfit looks cheap!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed This arrived in the mail with so many wrinkles that I would have had to take it to a dry cleaners for pressing if I had decided to keep it. However, I'm returning it. Very disappointed that a designer as famous as Bob Mackie would allow his clothes to be mailed in such a way to be received so wrinkled. As someon 5'2", the top was way to long and way to boxy and it looked awful on me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from RUNS HUGE! Well, I went by the garment specifics and it is a mile off. I almost can make this a double breasted jacket! I am not kidding. It has no shape either. If I left it open like the model, I have at least 4 inches of fabric on the side. It looked great on the models, but something must have happened with what they shipped to us. I love this fabric. This is a shame. I am sending back all 3 complete outfits for different reasons. You can read my other reviews.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Runs large Just received this item yesterday in the celadon color. It will need to be ironed before wearing. In trying it on, however, it seems to run a bit large. I have gone from 1X in tops and jackets to the XL, but I believe that a size L might have fit better. Unlike a lot of Bob Mackie's garments, this one is unadorned, except for the ruffled sleeves. It is a quality garment, but I'm wondering if it doesn't look a little too boxy, with the sleeves coming right at the hips. I'm still on the fence about it, and I hate to pay double shipping just to try a smaller size. I am still a fan of Bob Mackie's garments, though!
