Black & Decker 7.5-amp 14" Electric String Trimmer is rated 1.8 out of 5 by 30.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this trimmer! Exactly what I needed. Lightweight and does a bang up job! The string doesn't break and the auto feed is great. Truly a blessing. I was having so much trouble with my old Craftsman and it's thin line breaking every 3 seconds.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy it. Don't even take it for free. I don't have anything else to add that hasn't already been said on here. Spool is a piece of junk. Motor is right at your hands and the vibration is so bad that if I am fortunate enough for the spool to work and I can use this my hands tingle for 10 minutes afterward. This product should have been recalled the minute someone tried to use it. This is bad enough that I will never buy a black and decker product again for anything. "How often do you use this product?" Should really be never because it DOESN'T WORK.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from THE WORST PRODUCT I EVER BOUGHT This is the worst product I ever bought. The feeder line mechanism was poorly designed. The line keeps on feeding so the line keeps on entangling. I wasted my money on this product. Now I have to look for a new edger. Please don't buy this product or you too will be sorry. I don't think I will ever buy a Black and Decker product again after this experience.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Easy to Use I previously owned the B&D GrassHog which used .065" line and it worked well. It wore out so I found the GH3000, thinking it would be similar. Requires a 14 gauge extension cord for 100 feet which makes everything much heavier to use. The .080" line rarely lasts for one trim of the yard and refilling the spool is a major pain.Seems that B&D have new engineers designing products which they never use themselves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent trimmer - very good auto-feed I've had this for two years now and it's worked as advertised. The line feeds automatically with two brands of line that I've bought. Twice I did have to remove and re-orient the line when it broke inside the spool, but that's over a period of quite a bit of trimming. It's much more powerful than my previous corded electric trimmer, which burned out while working in some too-heavy weeds.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from GH3000 Auto Line Feed The auto feed feature broke on the first use of this device.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money. thing works so/so but, don't loose the spring that helps spool turn. you won't be able to find the part at big store chain.
