Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good till you clean the filters We purchased this because we have two 150 lb dogs with long hair. In the past we have had to use a brush on the carpet before we could vacuum. We saw this on QVC and thought finally something that will help get the hair up. This worked great once we got it and tried our first vacuum. We just had the new pet carpet installed that the hair doesn't get caught in the fibers. We used this over the next couple weeks but noticed that the suction was being lost every time we used it. We followed the instruction to clean the filters. Once this was done we started having issues. There was no suction, the hair was getting caught at the side of the filter not the spirals ect. We have always had no issues with Bissell but this still need some work to be called a pet vacuum. This would be great for maybe short hair pets.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DON'T buy this!! I have three dogs and two of them shed. However, we have hard wood floors and mostly I like to vacuum my sofas and chairs. This vacuum is bulky, hard to use the attachments and the suction is AWFUL. When taking apart the canister to empty it (in hopes it will improve the suction) the thing is impossible to fit back together. The attachments are hard to store and fall off the darn thing while you use the vacuum, and if you reach the hose...like try to stretch it...the whole vacuum falls on your feet. It's heavy and hard to use and the cord tangles instantly. What a DISAPPOINTMENT. I will never buy Bissell again after this disaster. I should've spent the money on another Shark.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hard to push This vacuum is very heavy and not easy to maneuver around furniture. It is very difficult to push. There is no motor to help with that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it! This vacuum is light weight and the swivel feature is so nice. This is the first vacuum that I've owned that does a good job on hard floors.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just Okay Cons: Heavier than a Shark. Vacuum tips over if you use the hose without removing the canister. The telescoping extension wand does not stay locked and is very cumbersome to use. The dirt container release button gets bumped accidentally because its on the canister carrying handle. It does not do well on linoleum or tile floors. I also wish the handle was at least 2" longer. Pros: Has good suction. A decent sized dirt container. Works great on carpets and area rugs thanks to the adjustable floor type setting (which is just a suction flow setting not a height adjustment). I have 2 very hairy large dogs and the hair does not get wrapped around the brush roll, so it does what it says. It's also easy to dump the dirt container.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best vacuum ! I bought this when it was QVC2 Big Deal and I am pleased with my purchase. I have had many expensive brands of Vacuums in the past . I have 3 dogs and a cat in the family and let me tell you pet hair can become overwhelming if your vacuum doesn't clean well! The first time I used my Bissel was ONE day after I had just vacuumed and cleaned the whole house. When I finished cleaning, I removed the canister to empty it and the canister was FULL OF HAIR !!! This machine picked up hair that I could not even see. It is pretty amazing! Now I use this every couple of days and I no longer have dust bunny's clinging to the walls and corners! I am very pleasef with this purchase. Thanks QVC!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bissell 2 in 1 It's ok picks up good I like the fact that you can change the suction for carpets so it doesn't suck up the area rugs. But it is heavy and the attachments are not that great also the extension hose collapses and doesn't lock in place like it is supposed to and I wish I could use the attachments from my old vacuum on this one.
