Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I ordered the flocked version of this tree in all three sizes. After having them for a couple of days, I decided to go ahead and set the smallest one up. I took it out of the box, set It up in its stand, plugged it in, and right off the bat, I noticed that one of the bulbs was out. I replaced it and all was fine. Fast forward to tonight when I decide I’m going to set up the other two trees. I pulled out the 5 foot tree first. Set it up. (Set up is about the only thing I really like about the trees) I worked with the gloves provided to try and fluff up the branches, but no matter how hard I tried to fix it, there continued to be a big gaping spaces. I thought that I could live with that, until I noticed one of the branches had come loose. When I finally found where it came loose at, I tried reattaching the branch. That’s when I realized it couldn’t be reattached, because the branch was broken. I finally ended up taking the tree down and putting it back in it’s box. I also returned the smallest one to its box. I didn’t even bother to open the 7 foot tree. I figured there was no need since I wasn’t going to be able to use all three as I had planned. After reading other reviews, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was something wrong with the 7 foot tree as well. I’m considering returning them for a refund, but the bad thing is, I can’t get them to go back into the box properly in order to return them. I rarely have any trouble when I order something from QVC, but I am extremely disappointed with the trees.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pretty Tree . . . . . but . . . . Yes this is a pretty tree but has issues. No - the stand has no locking feature so if you move it even just to adjust where you want it the feet fold under. I consider this a defect in the design of the tree but do like the appearance of the stand. The flocking is falling off everywhere and is so thick in places that you cannot adjust the branches as they are just stuck together. This I consider also a defect in the design of the tree. There are many nice flocked trees on the market for less money than this that DO have locking stands and the branches are not glued together with flocking. I felt that the $100 I spent on it (and now the $11 to send it back!) is not a good value. Just another lesson learned that unless I can see and touch in person I should not buy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Instant Christmas Spirit!! My wife wanted another tree for an additional display she is planning this year. I picked this one up and to be honest, as soon as we opened the box, the Christmas Spirit flowed out. This tree is amazing! We opened the box, stood it up, plugged it in and wow, just what we were looking for. The tree is nicely made and with the snow effect and lights, made this an awesome choice. It’s sturdy and well built! Definitely a great accent or for the main attraction on any Christmas scene. Perfect!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BETHLEHEM LIGHTS 5' SLIM FLOCKED DOWNSWEPT DECORAT From out of the box I was very disappointed! It all seemed so very cheap and I had difficulty getting the branches into the downswept position. The pine needles were not even shaped but a cheap material. The stand would not stay in position and if you lifted tree at all got tangled up below... Plus it made me feel like sneezing. Back it goes - even if I have to lose $11 to return it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from pleased with this purchase I got the 5' flocked tree with white lights, and the 3' plain tree with multi lights. My flocked tree is really very nice, I rearranged branches a bit, but it was in good shape, and I have no issues; it really looks as I'd wanted. A bit of flocking did fall, as I assembled and rearranged, but I would expect that. The 3' tree with multi lights, is perfect for a small space. On both trees, the lights are well and generously placed. I also liked the little 'wrought iron' stands, although I could not find a way to 'lock' them in place; so if moving the tree even a tiny bit, the stand was a bit of an issue. Overall, I am quite pleased with these purchases. I do wish QVC would discontinue the posting of reviews that come from a promotional source. I have seen this more and more, and don't feel it reflects true insights from customers that have actually purchased a particular product. I value customer opinions, and would prefer customer reviews to be limited to those that 'actually purchased and used' the product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I mean it’s not worth $100 First off the box it came in was basically opened like minimal tape holding it together. Opening to check on it because I was worried it was damaged. I have the stand and all that so that was a relief. It was a bit wobbly when I put in in the stand but then I realized I didn’t push it down all the way. I am disappointed in the flocking, scarcity and lights. The huge chunks of flocking on the floor are from me picking off the lights which was advertised and them taking the time to cover ever single light with caps before flocking. That obviously didn’t happen bc I picked flocking off of about 50% of the lights. The branches have no give and are really hard to manipulate to cover the sparse areas. It’s a cute bedroom tree but it’s nothing that is hush over to family and friends. My cat is happy she has a giant box to play with which is a bonus for me lol

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheap. Not worth the money I was so disappointed in these trees. Flocking falls off so easily. Not shaped well and no more lights than any tree from any big box store. Neither of mine will stand straight in the stand. I was at Lowe’s 2 days after I received mine and the ones at Lowe’s were so much nicer and better priced. Would not recommend.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Problems similar to what others have noted Received our 5' flocked tree yesterday and opened it today to check and make sure all OK. First thing we noticed was that there was NO TREE STAND in the box. Box appeared new and original seal. We got the tree out anyway and plugged it in (with one of us holding it up since there was no stand). The lights are pretty and are fairly well dispersed, except for a small area in one spot which we can face toward the wall. Top seems straight and would look OK even without a star or angel. As another noted, it is nicely downswept to about halfway down, and then it is like a regular tree, and the branches do not seem flexible enough to get them to slope downward, so we may just have to leave them that way--doesn't look too bad, just a bit odd. Very minimal shedding of flocking. No odor noticed, did leave my hands a bit itchy. Very hard to get tree back in the box without smashing and messing up any shaping you've done, so we'll have to buy a tree box or bag. Bethlehem Lights says 2-3 weeks for replacement stands to come in, so we told them to go ahead and put us on the list, as we're scared to exchange it and get one of the problem trees everyone else seems to be receiving. Just hope we have the stand before Thanksgiving weekend to be able to put the tree up. I don't even know how one would get it in another manufacturer's stand -not likely to fit. QUESTION: Several mentioned they solved the problem with the tree stand flopping around/not secured. How did you solve it? And BTW, I find it interesting that most of the 5 star reviews are ones where someone got the tree through a promotion--how does this fit with "have not been offered any incentive or payment to write this review"? Otherwise the star average would be abysmal.
