Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Own 3 Of These Ummm these aren't "hard" to use. It's a blanket. The blanket doesn't actually separate -- what they mean is that the two sides front and back ARE sewn together around the edges -- that is what makes it thicker and cozier. I've had Berkshire in this kind for 3 years now and ever had issues washing it, drying it, or using it. Lays fine. I use this under a coverlet in the cold months, on the couch, and as gifts. Your dog will love this.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Separation Problems I purchased this blanket a long time ago, not as the T S V , but it is exactly what I have. Unfortunately the Sherpa is not attached to the blanket and when using on the bed it separates and is very difficult to use. It is hard to make the bed, because it continually pulls apart. The good part is, it is very warm and soft, but I really tire of the design difficulties. It should go back to the drawing board for re-design to attach it together. If you can live with that, it is accurately described.
