Rated 2 out of 5 by from Needs some re-design Bought two of these last year. Plastic becomes brittle and cracks when out in hot sun. Also, these are not deep and need to be watered twice a day if in hot sun. In addition, if in a windy spot on the prairie, as I am, these blow over all the time. I kept losing plants or having stems snap off when these blew over in the wind, many many times. So, while the concept is good and I did have some nice trailing flowers growing in them, I would not recommend to others, depending on where they plan to sit them and whether or not you are willing to water frequently, especially the top layers since bottom layers get all the water running down into them. So, purchase, but with caution.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor quality plastic becomes brittle I bought 2 in may 2017. They were great at first but the plastic becomes brittle and breaks easily. Before the end of the first summer pieces would break off in my hand as I tried rotating the planter. The plastic used to make this item is very poor quality.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Break after 1 season of use I bought 6 sets of these. This looks like a great idea but the design creates shade for the plants under the top tier. For that reason I've had to just use each as one tier for my strawberries and other plants.Worse yet, the cheap plastic becomes fragile after a season and breaks easily. The dollar store stackable brands I've purchased have held up much better. I live in So Calif and that's been my experience here.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not use outdoors This is not for use outdoors in the sun. It breaks as if it is dry and brittle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stackable Planter Tower This planter is great for herbs mixed in with flowers! They last all season. In early spring and fall, I planted some lettuce and cool weather veggies. As of 10/23 they're still growing! You can slide the container close to the building and cover in case of a frost. I love it as it really extends the growing season.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific item I have strawberry plants planted on the second layer from the top with sun patiens on the other ones and they are thriving and look gorgeous. One word of advice, make sure you plant them in plenty of soil so they do not dry out too much

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good Purchased for my strawberry plants I bought from QVC. just finished planting the six strawberry plants so mine is only two tiers high. Currently I have it sitting on my oragami shelves just outside my back door so I can keep an eye on the plants since reading that the tops dry out fast. Just a precaution. It appears to be fine, easy to fill and stack. Sturdy enough for my use and easy enough for me to relocate if needed. The instructions do say to turn it 45 degrees can't remember how often. But you have to check on the plants, so turning it once in awhile for any plant in a planter is a good habit for an even plant growth. So as I said in the beginning so far so good.
