A Note from the Designer

"Throughout history, daggers have represented bravery, perseverance, and courage. I love their graceful, elongated forms as well as their history, symbolism, and lore. I identify with them as inspiration for artistic interpretation. I chose a sleek, tapered onyx baguette for the blade because it's a stone of protection. This charm is striking enough to stand alone as a petite pendant, but also looks beautiful with other charms."

—Barbara Bixby

Barbara Bixby Sterling & 18K Rose Gold Onyx Sword Charm is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Edgy and Elegant This is a really cool piece. Well made and designed to perfection. It is not a large piece but has plenty of presence without being too much. I love that BB enlarged the bail so that this lovely piece can be used on other chains and cords. I wore mine on a chain I already had from QVC with small spinel beads and silver. If you have ever been tempted by this piece, jump in, you won’t be disappointed. (I hope B.B. plans on bringing the skull doublet back so I can pair with this piece)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unique. Big impact in a small 'footprint'! This is a perfect little charm/pendant. It is large enough to be noticed without being gaudy, and the rose gold flower is a nice contrasting touch to the sleek onyx blade. Well-made, and it will look great paired with the Bixby skull pieces or Egyptian collection. Happy here!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Sword, but.... It didn't suit my tastes. I have lots of charms from Barbara Bixby and I love them all, however this Sword Charm didn't WOW me, so it's going back to QVC. I gave the Charm 5 Stars because although it's not to my liking, it's priced well and really lovely. The Onyx is a true black, and overall the Charm is really well made, it would be a wonderful gift for a younger lady, I'm thinking late teens, early twenties.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Beatiful Treasure Piece What else can I say? If I found a chest at the bottom of the ocean this sword( enlarged of course ) would be the greatest find of all the crafted arts and jewlery to be found, For me that is. I appreciate your beautiful imagination and artistic talent Barbara B. Thank you for sharing with us and keep it coming.
