Rated 5 out of 5 by ANOTHER MUSEUM PIECE There is everything to like in this lovely necklace from the combination of colors in the clasp, the length and the quality of the pearls. Got the matching cross enhancer and my only wish would be if Ms Bixby could design some flourite earrings to match. 01-14-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by Gorgeous! This is beautiful and striking, a definite statement necklace. I found the length to be perfect. I did twist it a bit more than they show on the video. This is something to be treasured and handed down to my daughter. 03-12-14
Rated 5 out of 5 by I look like a PRINCESS, but Barbara is the QUEEN! OMG this necklace is SO beautiful it looks like royalty. Such a couture look and it is so well done. I am not a small woman and it fits my neck perfectly. It works better as a torsade, but can be worn both ways. I am a musician (classical piano) and I will wear this necklace in my next music video...now I have to find a dress to work around this piece. Truly stunning work, Barbara...thank you! 02-13-14
Rated 5 out of 5 by A piece of art This is not my typical look at all, but I do admire Barbara Bixby's pieces even if they aren't my style. I'm not even necessarily a purple person. Then, there's the fact that the Q does this no justice in the presentation - it was sloppily placed on the model, the host wasn't sure how to work the piece, the photos online are poor quality, etc. Nonetheless, my jaw dropped in the still shot when they did the show preview and I was completely surprised that I just had to have it. I couldn't decide between this and the OTO cross, so I ordered both to see them in person (the cross was never presented and I'm sending it back). The necklace is gorgeous on - it is meant to be and looks best as a torsade - and it looks like it walked out of a museum collection. It is a special, special piece and I think it looks every bit the price. I don't think it is for everyone, but I can't imagine sending it back. I love it! 02-12-14

Rated 3 out of 5 by Stunning!! Does not lay right though. This is breathtakingly beautiful, but as much as I love it, I cannot make it lay right. I have tried the gemstone cluster by my collarbone as Barbara suggested, and in the center, but everywhere I place it, the gemstones flip on the side, (stones down as that is the weighty part), so it doesn't show up well. The only place it lies flat so you can see the gemstones, is up high on my neck, but then if wearing a jacket, the stones are hidden. I tried twisting it as a torsade, up to 13 times, but even that was not helpful. I do have a tiny neck, so maybe if your neck is larger, it would lay correctly for you so the gemstones can be seen. Sadly I must return it. 02-10-14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Gorgeous!!! This is such a beautiful necklace!!!! I am absolutely in love with it!!! As a hobby I create jewelry so I am very picky when it comes to choosing jewelry, but this one is stunning. The length is a little shorter than a typical 18 inch necklace. I just measured mine, and it was a little longer than 17&1/2inches. Since the width is much wider than ordinary necklaces that are out there, it feels even shorter than the actual length especially when you twist it. If I twist mine, I can make it as short as 16&1/2inches. (So if you prefer to wear long necklaces, I do not know if this is a good idea but, you might want to bring it to a jeweler and have one strand removed and use it to make the necklace longer... or ask QVC to bring these in longer lengths) However, I personally like the way it is because whenever I wear the clasp on front, it does not face down. If the necklace was longer, I think it will because of the weight of the metal and the stones. In addition, it forms a nice round shape when I wear it on my neck, which I like, but I think it will create an oval shape if it was longer (Some people prefer it that way and that is also beautiful!) The pearls look much better in person. It first looked a little artificial on air to me, but the real color is fabulous, just right. Barbara, you are AMAZING!!! Thank you so much!!! 02-09-14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Exquisite Necklace This necklace is drop dead gorgeous. When I first opened the pouch, I thought the pearls were smaller than I had expected. However, after I twisted the necklace to make a torsade, I think the pearls are just the right size. I also think the length is just right for me. I agree with Barbara's statement on air that the fluorite piece looks best to the side, at the edge of the collarbone. The colors are beautiful. 02-08-14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Gorgeous The stones are beyond phenomenal, the fluorite is better in person, like a cross between teal and green. I love this color combination and I really don't wear lilac but this is a keeper, very couture. As far as the length it works for me I normally wear a 16" and this is a bit longer. I measured it and it measures a bit over 18" but I do believe it shortens once you clasp. By wearing it flat you will get more length and by twisting it to make it a torsade shortens it. 02-08-14
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed Ordered many things during the designer's silver showcase but this necklace was the one I couldn't wait to receive. It is not 18 inches like it states, and was said to be on air. It is a 15 to 16 inch necklace. It's definitely a choker! 02-08-14
