Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never Again 14,000 BTUs? Feels more like 3000 BTUs. The old window unit I had was actually cooler.than this unit. Might be good for some, but not my house.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too large. I bought this in April. I live in Michigan, so even though I installed it and test ran it, it was too cold here to really let it run long. The weather finally got warmer and I turned it on "for real". This thing keeps blowing the breaker. Reading the troubleshooting guide I find out it needs its own circuit, and it tells me I need an electrician! Of course it's too late to return this monster, so now I'm stuck with it. I just wanted to replace the 75 lb window unit with something easier for me to install myself....this is not it! Another reviewer wrote that the window install kit was too long, mine was also, but we cut it to fit the window, in case that will help anyone. So my air conditioner search continues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWSOME A/C IT's A POWERHOUSE I've had this for a year about now we live in the panhandle everyday its close to 100% humidity here, I came back to QVC site looking to buy another one. I'm looking for the a/c with heat pump to try that since this has been so reliable. We use these in our rv they work so much better and with the de-humidify function these work awsome. We don't even use our roof air conditioner's anymore and yes the roof air works just makes it really humid inside, damp feeling. Well guess i will check back and see if these are available love this unit has served us well with no issue's to speak of besides sometime making it to cold in our 48 foot Everest 5th wheel thx Gary E. P.S vent it out your washer dryer hose in the RV it works perfect.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quality CONTROL Not to happy with this, after installing with vague instructions. My unit was defective. The intake fan made all kinds of loud noises. So I had to send it back. The window kit didn't fit my windows, ether too long or too short, no matter how I slide/adjust the length. The instructions assume they will fit everyone's windows, and gives no information on this. I assume you have to cut them. Oh and the instructions also mention Duck Tape. Really? On a unit this expensive? The unit looks solid and of high quality. I requested a replacement, and I think it will suit my needs.
