Rated 5 out of 5 by from Maximum comfort These are probably my favorite winter shoe, I live in Florida and only get to wear them 2 months out of the year but definitely most comfortable shoe ever! I thought the wool would make my feet sweat but it does not . Awesome shoe! Would love another pair if I could wear them more!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Honest Review I spent awhile reading reviews before pulling the trigger on these beauties from Portugal. To start off some reviewers said that they are hard to get on. My narrow boney feet have to go in after I completely flatten the back, slide my foot in and pop the top back up. It feels fine once you get them on. Next, the back is very high up. If as humans we didn’t have an Achilles’ tendon they would feel fabulous. So now this is when socks come into play. We’re talking thick socks. Maybe this will soften up over time, mine are just out of the box. They don’t feel too wide on my size 8 1/2 to 9 narrow feet. I ordered a 40 for reference. They are wool. They do itch without socks, so for multiple reasons you need to wear socks. The wool attracts hair. I do people’s hair for a living. Would I wear them to work? No. Unless I want to look like chubacca. I do really like them even with these few hairy details.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rubbed back of ankle First, I wanted these shoes last year, but they had sold out in my size in that first presentation...so I was thrilled to see them again. I don’t find them an especially attractive shoe, but since I’m really more about their comfort, their appearance doesn’t bother me. I got the black ones and since I’m 9.5 Medium, I went up to a size 10. The left foot fit perfectly. The right also fit well, BUT with each step I took the high back side of the shoe kept rubbing the back right side of my ankle. I wore them around my house for about 20 minutes before grabbing some socks to see if that would help the rubbing situation, but the sock didn’t help. I really wish they’d design the exact same shoe, but with a normal heel height for the upper. As it is, I’m debating on just sending the shoes back, or try to see if the shoe repair person can add and some kind of lining to prevent that wool material from rubbing the tender skin between my heel and ankle bone. Other than that issue, these are wonderfully comfortable shoes. And I really love the whole sustainability in the way they’re made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very High Quality! Very high quality shoes. Love the style, wool fabric, and comfort. Good arch support. The wool fabric is thick, but very flexible and easy on the skin. Perfect comfort shoe not needing a break in. Sole is thick and flexible adding to the overall comfort of the shoe. This is a substantial warm shoe, but not heavy. Ordered the black in 9M. I wear 9N, but sometimes shoes made in Portugal fit my narrow foot as do Fly London Softinos in 9M I purchased. The front of these shoes is very wide. An orthotic insert didn't take up the width in the front. I'd say they are for a medium wide and wide foot. The length fit perfectly. They looked so cute on the models, however, my very thin feet and small ankles just made these shoes look much larger and clunky on me. If you have a wider foot, they are well worth a try.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boot I love this shoe, so much so, bought two pair. Black and aqua. Not only super comfy, but, super cute too. If they make it in red I will jump on it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These shoes get noticed! The off-white purple combo is funky and cool. I'm finding them to be warm without making my feet sweat; I've been wearing without socks. They're also very comfortable. I was a little worried about the cork bottom being too stiff, but it's got some flex and cushion to it. Also, the shoes have great traction. If I had to point out one drawback, I'd say the back runs a little high up my ankle and rubs on it. Over time, this could develop into a blister or skin irritation. I'm hoping that will go away/soften up though, after the shoes are broken in. I plan on getting the mesh counterpart for warmer weather, if they ever go on sale.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wowzer........purple is great color Great toe box, comfort sole, a shoehorn is advised for the first few times ( I use mine every time), warm, but not too hot...even with wool socks, plenty of room if a special insert is needed. I just ordered the black after wearing the purple several months. I have mortons neumoras in both feet and these allow plenty of room for comfort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfectly comfortable ....Love this shoe! I live in Colorado and did I ordered this at the perfect season. With winter here I need a good shoe to wear on cold and less snowy days - this is PERFECT. The moment I slipped them on I knew I wanted another pair. I am retired military and have issues with my feet so have to really be careful in my shoe purchases. Fly London fits the bill every time. I ordered the black and will probably order another just to have when I wear these out along with the white. You will not regret this purchase. So warm and toasty and they look really cute. Very Happy.
