Arlo by NETGEAR 3-Pack Cameras Indoor/Outdoor Wire-Free HD Surveillance is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 33.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from When Customer Service Improves - Maybe. I purchased the system unaware that there are several levels of "Arlo" and bought the basic system; 3 cameras and a base station. All three cameras were placed outside. I immediately began having trouble with the camera the greatest distance from the receiver which was approximately 75 feet. The camera was constantly going "off line". It was very difficult finding Customer Service and almost impossible to actually talk to a person but after several calls and emails, I was able to get the camera replaced. However, the replacement camera was also defective and had a constant "pink" background color. I finally gave up and contacted QVC who was most helpful. You should know that all Arlo cameras are not equal and the service is very basic with options to purchase upgrades and the Customer Service needs much improvement. I'm uncertain how well the Arlo Pro system may perform and the "basic" system is ok but needs work. I've used the Blink system before and it was flawless.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Limited range System is limited in range both for detecting movement by cameras and connecting to base station. If movement is more than about 10 feet from camera it doesn't trigger. Unfortunately connection to home wifi by base station requires an ethernet cable to be attached to your home router. The cameras only connect to the base station which means if they are out of range of the base station you would have to buy both a range extender for your home wifi and another Arlo base station to boost the signal to a camera. I have another camera system for about the same price that uses the home wifi without need of a dedicated base station that can take advantage of my home wifi's extended range. If the Arlo cameras get a weak signal they consume a set of batteries in about two months. Arlo system seems only suitable where you have cameras within 10 feet of an entrance and close to the base station.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not What I Expected The cameras motion detection seems to be weak, even though I have it set to sensitive. One camera has a red hue all the time and wont detect motion and despite doing all I needed to fix it, has not worked. Will be sending it back to Arlo. Wish I could return them, but waited too long to unbox them and set them up. Definitely not worth the money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Had to return I must first say I loved the product and QVC fast delivery and easy payments. I did not however love the customer service from arlo. The cameras worked well and I was able to check from my smart phone when I was away from home. I could see who was on my property. After about about 6 weeks my arlo app would not allow me in and said my password was incorrect. I tried the "forgot password" as there was no other options. I was told a new password would be emailed to me but nothing came in the email. I finally had time to call the toll free number which was not a good connection and I was told that I had a virus and "VERY BAD PEOPLE" had hacked me. The customer service rep wanted very personal info to "fix" my problem. When I told him that I did not have a problem with any of my other apps, the rep became hostile and yelled that he was the only one who could fix my problem and he could just hang up if I did not want his help. I hung up immediately and called QVC. They apologized and said to return my cameras. I truly wish another solution could be had. I will do more research and purchase another security system. As always 5 stars for QVC. Best customer service ever.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good Price, But Too Many Issues I bought this Wireless system on a Deal Day, Price was great. But system not so much. I told My sister to buy one also. She did. I've had it for about 6 months now and have had to replace the Very Expensive Rechargeable Batteries x 3 @ $29,99 ea. Along with constant adjusting of motion or other settings to get cameras to record properly. My Wifi was part of it at first. Then i bought a Wifi Extender and now have 3 solid bars on my signal and still poor quality. It picks up a passing car in the very top corner of the screen, But when i drive up and pull my Full Size 4x4 Chevy in the driveway, Get out walk to the house, All it picks up is just as i enter the garage. I've called in to the help desk a couple times and they gave me some fixes, But still the same result. Overall not to happy with my purchase. I'd return it, But its past the return deadline.
