Great camera!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're looking for a truly easy installation, and great camera quality, this is your video camera! Although I live in the country, these days, a little peace of mind is always a plus. This camera was easy to install and has great picture quality!

Added security

The video doorbell not only allows ua to see who is at door without opening but provides us with seeing who stops by when we are not home as well as seeing when packages are delivered so we know if anything disappears. The added security has provided us with a big relief.

Excellent Doorbell Cam
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Arlo Doorbell camera is the best one I have used. The application is well designed and intuitive. The doorbell being wireless is a great feature. I chose to wire it to my existing doorbell and transformer so it always stays charged, but it is nice to know that I could have mounted it anywhere regardless of wire. This doorbell has lots of options and was easy to set up. I have this doorbell mounted near my garage entrance door looking towards the street and down my driveway. I increased the sensitivity to 8 on the motion detection and rarely get a car driving by, but pickup everything else. That was my biggest fear with a new doorbell is how much "extra" vehicle action it would pick up. My other doorbell sent me so many notifications I stopped looking at them. The smart software on this doorbell can differentiate between an animal, package, person, or a vehicle. This feature works well, and the notifications show a glimpse of what it captured as well as the designation I listed above. The audio and video quality are great and both parties can communicate easily. Comes through on your phone like a phone call using your ringtone. This is hands down the best doorbell cam I have used. Mine came with a trial to their smart service and I believe it is worth it to subscribe to.

Nice picture and easy install
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had some shady things go on since we moved into our home about a year ago. I've been looking for a security system for a while now and was happy to try this doorbell camera. The setup was super easy because it's wireless. You just need to mount it where you want it. The app is really easy to use as well. It walks you through everything and is very user friendly. The picture quality is better than I expected it would be and I can clearly make things out. We get a lot of animal traffic but that's not a big deal. The only downside is that you have to pay for the app after the free trial is over. From looking around it seems that most companies are like this so it's not a deal breaker. This definitely gives me piece of mind for my family and I'm looking into other products we can add. If you are looking for a great quality doorbell camera you should for sure consider this one. We are very happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Arlo Essential Wire-Free Doorbell is capable of identifying specific objects. For example; I had my dog outside with me and a notification alerted me a animal was at my door or whenever someone is present at my door I'm alerted a person is there. The app filters these notifications by a assortment of specific categories. Whenever some one rings my door bell I'm sent a call on my phone from the Arlo doorbell. The app records each days motion, time, specific type of motion and a short clip.

Porch lookout!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can always see my front porch or my yard at anytime now. Installing this doorbell was very easy because its wireless so I had not trouble at all. The placement of the doorbell did take about 5 minutes because I wanted to make sure I was getting the coverage and angles I needed. I did not sign up for the subscription so I could test the camera out on basic quality and it worked out great. The quality is not bad and can still pretty clear of who or what is one your porch. I wanted a camera on our porch because I get lots of packages and I wanted to make sure that if any went missing I would have it on video. The camera is weather resistant so it works perfectly in the rain, snow, wind or super bright sun. I have even tested this camera out at night to see how far and how clear I could see and I could easily identify objects. There is options to call from the phone to speak with the person on the porch and an option to give a warning siren. I feel much more confident that my packages are safe and I also feel like my home is safe now too!

Knock Knock - Whose There?

Especially with the pandemic, we are weary to open the door until we know who is there and if they are wearing a mask. We now have an Arlo Video Doorbell and it is exactly what we needed. Easy set up. Connected straight to our wifi with no issues. Now we can see exactly what is going on at our front door without even getting up. Talk about a plus! I was able to assemble it without any issues and we are very happy with this Arlo doorbell. Highly recommended. No more surprise knocks for us. Safe and happy over here.

I love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doorbell is a step saver for me for sure. I live in an upstairs apartment and every time someone knocks on the door I have to go downstairs to see who it is, and most of the time they're not even there for me. I love that the app notifies me that someone is here and that all I have to do is talk to them through the camera.
The picture is super clear and in color, which is nice. When I get packages (which is a lot) I no longer have to keep going outside to see if they've been delivered. I just wait for the notification from Arlo.
Installation was also very easy. My husband had it up in 5 minutes. It took longer to download the app than it did to hang the doorbell on the wall.
Overall, I really like this doorbell and I highly recommend it.
