Faulty zippers
Neither of the double zippers works. And the burgundy sweater was more of a deep purple. The army green was a great color. But when the zippers are defective, back they go. I will stay away from the double zippers in the future. I have several Aran Craft Merino Wool sweaters and have had no trouble with any of the other zippers.

BEAUTIFUL SWEATERS
I purchased both the Burgundy and the Soft Grey in my normal size XL with plenty of room to layer. Very nice length for a sweater coat on me as I am 5'4". I thought the merino wool was very soft with no itching at all. I had no trouble with the zipper, very smooth. I was only going to keep one of these, but decided on keeping them both because it is such a beautiful sweater. Thank you

Zip-Front Cardigan
The knit pattern on this sweater is beautiful, and even though this is merino wool (wool is wool) I found it to be itchy.
Especially this style since the collar comes up high on your neck. Also, the zipper on mine didn't work once I unzipped it,
I couldn't get it to zip up again. So back it goes.... <sigh>
And who are these sleeves for? I guess someone with VERY long arms.
(the picture shows them to be right at the wrist on the model, and when Sandra was wearing it, they didn't appear long, but they are)

Beautiful Sweater!
I received my sweater in the soft grey and it is beautiful! I went by the garment measurements and ordered my normal size large and the fit is perfect. The wool is soft and the sweater is not bulky which I love. This is my second Aran Craft sweater and could not be more pleased. The quality in these sweaters is exceptional and will enjoy them for many years to come.

Beautiful pattern / bad zipper
I bought this in a medium grey. The sweater is quite pretty but it does run a little large and the zipper is problematic. I loved the idea of the two-way zipper but it is not easy to operate. The company should really upgrade to a YKK zipper. I returned this item.

Stay with your Q size
It feels softer to me than some other Aran sweaters. A little worried how the zipper is going to work with the yarn around it. I almost ordered a size L for layering, but I'm glad I stayed with my normal Q size M.

My Favorite Sweaters are 'Crafted' in Ireland!!!!
This sweater is so beautiful and the style very flattering!! I absolutely love it!!! The Soft Grey color is rich in its light color hues, and like all my Irish sweaters, I love wearing the stories of the fisherman cable and grassy moss that each knit design represents. You can really see those weaves in the light color, and the Soft Grey makes me think of a grey pebbled shore that may be the stage for some of the fishermen with their baited poles. I ordered my usual size which is a perfect fit. I love the beauty of Ireland, and this sweater is one of them!!! Thanks so much, Emma/Aran Craft!!

I Just received the sweater today and tried it on. I got the sweater in the Army Green in XL. It fits and looks awesome. Very nice weight too. I totally recommend this sweater. I think you could wear this like a coat in the fall.
