Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beast So, I upgraded from an i3 quad core to this (so my opinion might be a little skewed) but I'm finally able to enjoy playing any game I want as apposed to just league of legends and wow. I've been running league and apex at good - high video setting without any issues. just remember to download your drivers lol

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Monster machine Nice machine but just the graphic card if it can turn to water cooler might be better... otherwise it's too noise when I play the game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 5/5 so far Best piece of machinery I've ever owned. I've had all of the R5'S "Equivalents" spec wise but nothing can compare to this thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best Alienware Alienware Area 51 R5 is very nice and good quality. Alienware gaming mouse Aw959 is good with Area51 and Alienware gaming keyboard Aw768 is good too. I like Alienware because it’s very good quality and lighting. Everything Alienware made perfect. Before I buy I compare with other brand but for me Alienware is very good look great with lighting they build perfect. Thank you for building Alienware product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A really good system. My only complaint is that, for some reason, some of the games I installed did not autodetect the video hardware. A minor problem to be sure but that cost it the 5-star rating.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Really disappointed I just received this yesterday and I think they sent me a used computer. The side panel was all scratched up, beyond any doubt that it was old and had been rubbed raw against some some of surface, almost like the computer had been dragged along the ground. It's definitely not shipping damage, this is a result of extremely lax quality control. The Realtek onboard audio is 2.0 and I don't see any way of enabling 5.1 or 7.1. Time to install my old sound card. The computer didn't come with anything other than a power cable and a quick start guide. No manual. Nothing. The online manuals are set up so poorly. Finding what speed the PCIe rails run at is nearly impossible, for example. Overall, my impressions is that this "brand new" extremely expensive computer is that it's used or a repurposed RMA'd unit. It could be the fastest computer in the world, but now for the rest of the time I own it, I'll wonder if something is going to go wrong with it or if I just made a bad purchase. Alienware used to be synonymous with performance and quality. What happened?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's good. My main problem, and so far my only problem, is getting SLI active through NVIDIA Control Panel required uninstalling and reinstalling Alienware Command Center
