Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty Piece of History I already purchased one of the Liberty Copper charms directly from Alex & Ani when they first came out, but not on a bracelet. I was happy to see this offered at a decent price. The Statue of Liberty means so much to the America we know and I really wanted a piece of the copper for that reason. Now I have it on the bracelet as well and really love it. This would be a great gift for anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Memory bracelet It's beautiful. It's nice to know u have a piece of the Statue of Liberty. I have wanted the bracelet and OVC price was better than retail. The bracelet is bought with funds given to me as a gift from my co workers when I was out from surgery. That makes it special.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed! I was thrilled when I receive this bracelet. It is a little more delicate than the other Alex and Ani, but it is sterling silver, so that was OK. I wore it one day, and at the end of the day when I went to take it off, the copper liberty had dropped off. I would love to have a replacement, but I am afraid to re-order in case I would lose another liberty, and maybe next time it would be past the 30 day return window. So back it goes! Sad!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Meaningful I am thrilled to be connected in the tiniest way to the Statue of Liberty. The amount of copper is tiny, but the connection to such an iconic monument is huge. Makes me think about the meaning every time I glance at it. Perfect gift to someone interested in history, family, immigration and much more.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from CARRY LIGHT ARE VERY SLIGHT I was excited with the history of the copper in these bracelets and ordered 3 for my daughters and myself. When I opened the box I was bery disappointed with the size of the charm. I realize these are sterling silver and not a base metal but to wear this bracelet with other Alec and Ani bracelets it is lost in the mix. I honestly wish the design reflected the importance of what these bracelets symbolize. However rather than having my daughters disappointed when they were gifted all the bracelets went back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from On the fence ... I am undecided about this. I really wanted to just be wow'd by this, but I am not. Yet I still want to feel I have a (legal) part of Lady Liberty and all she stands for with me since I will most likely not get to see Her in person. It is better quality than the other Alex and Ani bracelets I recently received, so value is closer but not sure it is worth $60. Hmm, will have to sit with it a bit longer. I gave it four stars because they were able to conceive, manifest and share this concept.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from lovely................but When I saw this presented I knew I had to have it. Both sets of my grandparents entered this country through Ellis Island and became proud citizens of these United States! That being said, I found the bracelet to be on the thin side compared to other A&A bracelets that I have and the charm is rather small and gets lost when not worn alone. Such a shame. For the price I think they could have done a better job. For what this portrays, it should have stood out more. If it wasn't for the sentiment attached to it would have gone back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Special meaning for me Put this one on as soon as I took it out of the box. The silver bangle is quite thin and the charm is petite. That said, I like how it fits and it just feels special to be wearing a piece of Lady Liberty. I wear it on my left hand with two other bangles and a watch. It's sentimental for me because my grandmother entered the U.S. thru Ellis Island and when I took my mother to NYC a few years ago we visited the museum and Statue of Liberty. My mother's emotion was very inspiring to me when we found the ship's manifest with my grandmother's name on it.
