Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just didn't fit right Really cute shoes but the right shoe was to big. I walk right out of it. So disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVE them. The picture is not the print I bought. I got the petal print. Firstly, they are beautiful and go with every solid color. Secondly, they are not as wide an boxy as other Alegria shoes; they are much closer to the foot. Finally, they are extremely supportive and comfortable. Totally worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these shoes! I got these shoes in the Tartan print. I sized down as was advised and they fit like a dream! They are very comfy and feel broken in right out of the box!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Style and Quality, Tricky Fit I generally wear a 9, sometimes an 8.5 in American sizing. The vendor said to size down and so I went with an 8.5, which in the heel and in the width is fine (I took the shims out). It is, however, a hair too short and a 9 would be too sloppy. I have another style of Alegria with this problem and found with that after the insole conformed to my foot, the shoe was not too short. There is also some pressure from the top of the vamp on the big toe side. This is a common problem with this style of shoe and it generally resolves with wear. The style is cute, and the leather is very nice and soft with more support and comfort than a traditional ballet flat. I have many styles of this brand, which I wear almost exclusively, and I am hoping this shoe will work out.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Fit I love the color of these shoes, Rave on Nile, and dutifully ordered down a half sise. I normally wear a B width and even with an extra insole, I couldn't keep them on my feet. Other reviewers are right, there's something off in the sizing and design of this shoe. Too bad because they're very attractive. I would have loved to have included them in my fall wardrobe. Alegrias seem to run wide and I can't wear them unless they have adjustable straps.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stiff Ordered my usual size 9, they are about 1/2 size too big & sloppy in heel for me, I have wide front of foot & normal heel. There was plenty of room in toe area but because the leather? Is stiff it cuts into bone by big toe where foot bends. I thought I could stretch but decided the leather & undersurface probably would not stretch well. It's strange leather, almost like a synthetic. I also thought on my feet the style was very dowdy. For price I was very disappointed guess I'm back on the quest to find a stylish, comfortable ballerina shoe with a slight lift & good interior support with superior leather that conforms to foot. How about it designers???

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I so wanted to love these, but... Upon seeing the original presentation of these lovely shoes, I tried to take the advice offered and order 1/2 size down, but the 9.5 was already on backorder. I decided to try the 10, because ballet flats tend to hit just the wrong spot (big toe bone) on my foot, and I thought the extra length might help with that problem. When I tried on the 10s, the were just way too tight even with the shims removed. So I cancelled the 9.5 backorder, returned the 10s, and ordered the 10.5. They fit, but hit directly on that bone, where I know they will cause problems for me. I think going up to an 11 will just make the heel slip, so sadly I am giving up on this style. Alegria is my new favorite shoe brand, and I have several pairs that I just love, including the Fiona in Iris, which goes with everything in my closet and is my go-to sandal this summer. I could really use the ballet flat style in my wardrobe, and I thought the removable shim was just a genius idea for those of us whose feet are just a bit wider. If there is any possibility of adjusting the design on this shoe, or adding a similar style that would either be cut a bit higher or a bit lower across the toe area, I'm all in!
