I purchased this garden to grow the cascading petunias. I popped 2 pods in, covered the unused holes with golf balls, and was quickly amazed by how quickly my petunias grow. I'm about 3 months in now and they are absolutely beautiful in this garden. Care is easy. I simply pop off the cover daily to top off the water. Every 2 weeks I add the AeroGarden nutrients. And every 4 weeks, I do a complete water change. I am excited to see how long I can get these petunias to keep providing their amazing beauty. Before discovering AeroGarden, I never realized indoor gardens were so readily available, inexpensive to purchase, and so easy to maintain. I am a huge fan of AeroGardens and have been purchasing additional Harvests and Sprouts to add to my collection.

Love the aero garden, not herb quality control
Love the product. I bought three of this model this winter, after having an early model for a couple of years. But- The attached boxes for growing herbs was more disappointing. None of the three sets had thyme grow, one also had mislabeled mint, and one basil was a dud. Quality control and better customer service needed on that part.

Great and productive
I love it; it grows plants quickly, and they stay productive for months. I’ve had it for 3 months now and am still using the initial pods I got for growing lettuce. My only complaint and the reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is that the light can’t extend up high enough.

Got Me A Kitchen Herb Garden!
I got this for Christmas 2020. It sat in the box downstairs until about three weeks ago. I figured I should probably set it up before the seeds go bad, so I put it up on the kitchen counter, filled up the bowl, put in the plant food, and inserted the pods into the top. After a few days of almost patient waiting, I started to see some green! The first one to come up was the thyme. Alas, it is also the first one to quit on me, so far. All of the other herbs are going like gangbusters. The thyme sprouted, stalled, and then died back. Poor little baby! Thyme is the herb I use most, so I'm a little disappointed. Had it not been for the thyme's inability to thrive, there would have been five stars showing up above.
Now, I need to get another unit so I can have sage and rosemary, too!
Regarding ease of setup, I'm a little slow on the uptake and therefore easily distracted by shiny objects, so it was a little confusing for me to use the controls initially and program my unit. After several fumble-fingered attempts and more than a few not-safe-for-work expletives, I finally got it figured out and it's working fine right now. Maybe it's me (highly probable and the most likely scenario) but I felt a little lost trying to find the options in the menu. I still managed to fumble my way through it, however, and I got what I needed the unit to do for me after all.

I bought this as a gift for my mom since she loves her garden in the summer and is always sad when winter comes and she doesn’t have fresh herbs and vegetables. She absolutely loves it! It was easy to set up and alerts you when it needs more water or plant food. She is currently growing herbs and she has an abundance! Would recommend.

The product is nice, Aerogarden customer service is total trash though. No one answers/communicates.
