Acer 15" Laptop Windows 10 AMD A9, DVD/RW, 8GB RAM 1TB HDD is rated 1.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not What I Expected This pc is slow but you won't know by the specs. I bought this because the specs are awesome but it doesn't perform to par. QVC is advertising this as quad core but in reality it is a dual core. It take sometimes more than a minute to open the web. For the processer this pc comes it should perform at lightning speed but it does not. I guess I should have gone with my gut feeling and gotten a new HP. Their demos should include the powering of the pc for the time. In their demos the pc has been allready on so they just go from program to programs and we never experience when it is powered from the beginning. I don't recommend this pc. I'm very disappointed especially because the specs are deceiving!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed This laptop has not lived up to its promise of good performance at all. It is very slow and the network card has already gone bad...it will not connect to the internet. It has only been 4 months since I got it. Now I am back to using my 6 year old Dell laptop until I can afford a better replacement. Do not purchase this computer. If I could give it a negative star I would.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Going to Live With It Previously, I owned an Acer and it lasted me more than 5 years (until the cats spilled a cup of Dr. Pepper on it), but this one has disappointed me already. Opposite of the other reviewer, Eliza467, the hardware has been the problem for me. The computer frequently just quits mid-task, the screen goes black and stays that way for at least 2 minutes then restarts at the powering up screen, requiring my password again and having lost any work that I hadn't saved. The keyboard is very sensitive - I can't tell you the number of times it types a tapped letter double or triple times (douuble, sensitttive). The last thing is just a preference thing: the delete key is no longer placed in the top right hand corner of where the standard alpha keyboard ends (before the numeric pad), Because they moved the POWER button down into the keyboard (top right button above Numeric Pad, everything is shifted one left of where it should be, throwing off every key on the top row). So you always have to stop typing and LOOK to find your key. I'm sure I'll get used to it but then I'll be flummoxed when using my work laptop. And Windows 10 is just stupid about not setting the NumLock key to ON as the start-up default, but that's not a hardware issue. Oh, and I agree with Eliza467 about the slowness in loading web pages. My 2012 Acer was better at that. I'd return this machine but it has all my purchased ONE-TIME downloads of software (like Office 2010 and Adobe Pro) installed on it, those cannot be duplicated to another device. So I'm stuck for now. I have to say Acer, you let me down. In the days where there is no brand loyalty anymore, you've just lost a loyal customer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed The hardware works well but any action requiring full use of the internet and Win 10 cannot complete as its too slow. (My wifi works great with my Mac.) I had to return it.
