Rated 1 out of 5 by from Overcooks food --waste of money Well, I was really wanting to like this product. But I found that it simply does not cook food well. As others have pointed out, it boils food to dry, overcooked and tasteless. Even on teh lowest slow cooking cycle, the food boils, and then is done and sits on warm for hours, rather than slow cooking. So the food tastes terrible. Recipes say a 6 pound chicken will fit. Well, even without using the basket, I can barely get a 3 pound chicken in mine. So, if I do use it, I make items that I can watch, and regulate. slow cookers are supposed to be a boon to walk away from for several hours. Not so with this cooker. The oven portion still requires water/liquid in the bottom of the pan or the fat drippings burn. So food is really steamed, not roasted. I am moving, and this will be tossed, I don't even feel I want to give it to Goodwill...So much money wasted.... I'd give it minus stars if I could. these multifunction items just do not seem to really work very well. This replaced a couple of multi pots with basically the same problem.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from After a year I was really excited about this product and I love my other ninja products. I got this to replace a pressure cooker and thought it would be more versatile. What I am experiencing is whether it is on bake or steam or warm it is really overheating the food. What I mean by that is it boils away the juices, causes the contents to stick and nearly burn to the bottom of the pan. It doesn't seem to matter how much i turn it down it is still too hot. For example the other night I made a stew, when it was finished I set it to keep warm. It burnt it, not completely because I spelled it before it was completely ruined. You can't leave this unattended. Now mine may have a defect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my Ninja Cooker!!!!! This is the fifth Ninja I have purchased. Given them away as my daughters all wanted one. It is the best item I have in my kitchen. You can slow cook, bake, do stove top and save on dirtying other pans. I love doing a roast and then making gravy in the same pan. I have taken it on vacation and used it there. Once you use it, it will agree that it is a all in one item and you won't want to be without it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We love it! We use our Ninja 4 in 1 to cook many dinners especially large gatherings for the holidays. We love it so much we own 3! If you don’t own a Ninja I would highly recommend this product. We barely ever have to use our stove any more and the food turn out perfect.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Burns the food Almost every recipe that I’ve tried out of the book has come out either under cooked or burnt! Following the directions exactly doesn’t always work. Especially with this! I wouldn’t recommend it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great appliance I purchased this appliance on the suggestion of a friend who owns one. Loving how I can brown in the pan and not remove the item and continue with the recipe. I've baked in this crockpot also, loved the cookbook that came with it. Only down fall is the lid doesn't sit securely on it and I have a tiny chip in the inner lining already on the edge, which is discounting. I store it in my pantry on a shelf by itself since it's really heavy.
