Rated 4 out of 5 by from Unusual and nice I really like this candle holder. I give it five stars for design. Its large enough to be a statement piece and can be contemporary or traditional depending on what you put with it. I wanted something for my table without glass which collects obvious dust and finger prints and this is it. It matches the dark almost black of my chandelier. I took one star off because you have to fiddle with it to make it even. When you put it together, it will mostly be slanted of off by a bit so we had to try to bend it even. Great design, poor execution. Also if you use real candles, put something in the bottom, I don't know how you would get the wax off the base. I think it looks best with an eight or nine inch candle.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from the jury is still out I received this yesterday and I'm not sure whether it's staying or going back. VERY lightweight. I had to do some adjusting to get it all straight and it's STILL not right unless it's turned a certain way. Great idea, disappointing follow through.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unique and Perfectly Seasonless! A SHOWSTOPPER!! This metal apothecary jar by Valerie is so very unique and is capable of performing so many functions in any room of the house at any time of year. Currently I am using mine on the mantle in the center with each of Val's burlap lamps on either side. This is very versatile since it can be used with the bottom attached in either an up or down position. You can easily use this with a candle, pumpkin, or anything else that suits your fancy...a bunch of fruit would work, and I have some small pumpkins, pine cones, and acorns that I have carefully placed in the body of the "jar" and lit them individually flanked by some beautifully colored leaves. You can just let your imagination be your guide and it is so easy to just change it up. I think that my next idea will somehow incorporate some microlights being weaved in and out of the openings in the jar. I did buy the harvest so that should look lovely. Thanks once again Val for such a lovely piece!.
