This would have been beautiful poor workmanship
This is the nicest gingerbread house or would have been the doorway where the light shines through is half covered so it looks terrible missing the whole gingerbread house effect the light is not very bright. Where is quality control who puts out a GBH with half the door way covered???? Been ordering and getting Valerie things for years they are not the quality they use to be. Its a shame because this would have been a darling house if the workmanship would have been quality. It is NOT.

So disappointing!
This gingerbread house was very cute but the bottom edge was completely bent and the paint was popped off which had to occur at the factory. The light would not stay on unless the batteries had pressure on them. I used several different batteries and sometimes it wouldn't go on at all. Very disappointing since the house itself was really cute. This is not the first time a product from Valerie has had to be returned because of damage. It wasn't packed well at all so was a miracle nothing else was broken on the piece.

I love this house!!!
Bought the Mr & Mrs Claus and it's awesome! Love the gingerbread design and the Mr & Mrs Claus are the best!!! Can't wait to show them in my house for Christmas :)

Excellent Quality
I received my gingerbread house yesterday. I purchased the gingerbread man version. It is adorable and it arrived in perfect condition. I put the batteries in, the lights came on and the lights turned off when they were suppose to. This is a keeper. So pleased with my purchase. I have a gingerbread kitchen and I have collected Valerie's gingerbread houses for years. Love them all!

Cute and a Good Size
I purchased the Angel house. It's adorable! I do have to say though, like many of the others who purchased this, mine arrived a bit damaged. The door and the awning above it were caved in somewhat. I tried to pull it out gently, but no luck. I think it would need warmed up so the clay dough softens then adjust it. I don't want to mess with it too much, so I'm leaving it alone. My lights work fine so far.
I also love that it's a bigger piece. The biggest one I have now, and it will be perfect on my buffet with a couple of Valerie's larger peppermint trees. I may get the Snowman house to use someplace else. Fingers crossed that one arrives OK.

Always defected
I always miss the cij then i have to wait to get the as is gingy houses.All the reviews i read on the gingy houses seems their always defected some way.
Seems like valerie needs to order her gingy houses from a better vender. These bad quality houses are making valerie look bad then people like me dont want to buy them.
Get with it valerie.. your going to loose customers.

Nice house but the lights
I love the Gingerbread house, but it is fragile, My bow was broken as well, I just superglued it back on. My only complaint is the lighting which is too white, I prefer more of an amber tones in my decorations. This is problem with many of Valeries decorations with lights. Just please make them all Amber!! The wooden houses have the nice warm lights and it makes it world of difference. I may send this back because of the white lights.

Love love love
Small bow on top of gingerbread cottage had broken off ,applied some superglue and it’s fine everything I have order from Valerie par hill has been beautiful glad qvc was able to get more had order twice thanks Valerie and qvc
