Rated 5 out of 5 by This pendant is fantastic for the money. I looked at a very similar pendant in a jewelry store (same carat weight and design). It was priced at $2K. I closely examined that pendant and saw some carbon marks (black spots) and some opaque surfaces (light does not shine through) in the stone. This was clearly visible with the naked eye. The pendant I purchased from QVC has no carbon marks or opaque surfaces in the stone similar to very, very expensive emeralds. This pendant is fantastic for the money. Thanks QVC. 10-22-15
Rated 3 out of 5 by Spoiled by Brazilian coloring? I got this to match some Brazilian emerald earrings. The coloring is inferior. I don't mean inclusions, I expect them. But the Zambian I recieved seems pale and off color to the pictured emerald. I know each stone is different so I can't expect an exact match. I know for emerald quality, top is Columbian, then Brazilian, then Zambian so maybe I'm holding this stone to an unfair standard, but for $700 I'd hoped it would look very similar and would be a vibrantly colored stone. By itself, earrings aside, now that I've seen what an emerald can be, I'm not exactly floored by this piece and am contemplating returning. I'd probably be much more thrilled if I haven't seen other emeralds. It's dainty and pretty. The diamonds are nice. But ruling is, the emerald coloring isn't stellar for the money. 01-30-15
