I sure did love this ring. All that I said (in my past review) still stands. However, back in the fall I had to return it because a stone fell out. I chose to not exchange for another because I wanted a ring I could wear often as a replacement wedding band with a solitaire. (I'm not hard on my jewelry either, never wear rings in water, while cleaning, etc.). I'm still on the fence if I should try once more, I liked it that much. The design is perfect to wear with a solitaire, how the criss-cross "v's" on top and bottom it snuggled the solitaire so nice. It made a unique, one-of-a-kind set. I never mentioned, lots of gold in the setting too.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rae Ann This ring is really beautiful!
This ring is lovely in so many ways. Yes, I did read the other reviews before purchasing, and I almost didn't buy it because of them. But to each their own, I guess. The fit and style/look of the ring is lovely. I don't have the most beautiful of hands, and the ring is very complementary to the hand. I think it would look good on anyone. The ring is a nice width...wide but not too wide - nicely noticeable without being extreme. and very lovely diamonds! A great deal of sparkle, and in a diamond size that aren't just tiny chips. That can sometime be such a disappointment when ordering a ring with real diamonds. Not this one. The diamonds alone made me very pleased with my purchase. The Alexandrite? Well, I am not an expert in Alexandrite...I have never owned it, and so I had nothing to compare it to. I don't really see a "color change" (I am not sure what to look for, either), but they are a lovely greenish glow, much like the photo. So unique and very pretty. I have been wearing this ring often; it is very comfortable. I also like to put my solitaire above it. The two nestle together well, and make a really pretty and unusual bridal set. I don't dispute the other reviews, as i don't know what they received, or what they were expecting. However, if you are on the fence, you may want to order it and decide for yourself, as I did. I'm very, very glad I did!!

I was so excited to order this ring because I wanted to have a piece of genuine jewelry with my birth stone. But, when I received it, I was very disappointed. It was dull and defiantly did not have the "wow factor" I was hoping for. I returned it because if I spend this much on a piece of jewelry, I want it to look like I did.

I own some Alexandrite pieces already and was excited to add this to my collection. I was so disappointed after wearing it for about a week. It never changed it was just a green colored stoned ring. Nothing like any of my other pieces.

Pretty ring but stones do not change color. In bright light the diamonds sparkle (expected) as do the Alexandrite but they look like tiny dark emeralds. In dimmer light, they look like black rhinestones.
I am returning it as it isn't what I wanted.

Although I said, it does not have any color changing properties..... It is a pretty ring. BUT I am on the fence, as to whether i will keep it, as my reason for the purchase, was the fact on the presentation, was said this ring would change color from green to a purple color, it was even stated this ring had blue and green color flashes in certain light. WELL that is not the case with my ring. Im curious as to other purchasers reviews..

Just not worth the money. Only sparkles if you are in the sunlight. Was hoping to love this ring, but going back.
