Why is this no longer available? This is the best creche and so lovely hand crafted it just seems so right. Please bring it back, because I need a second one.

A huge disappointment...flawed and damaged
I bought the resin nativity set, which I love, and got this to go with it. My son went to put this together and there were numerous problems, including the holes being in the wrong places. He said that there was a nail that had splintered the wood, and that he thought that my creche looked like someone had tried to put it together, failed, and then returned it. So, my nativity set was "crecheless" for Christmas, and this is being mailed back.

Well worth the money. Gives an authentic feel
I had bought the Linda Dano 10 piece nativity set, which did not come with a creche. In my attempt to find a creche, I discovered that you could pay $160 dollars or more for a few pieces of wood nailed together. Unacceptable. When I saw this creche advertised, I hesitated but thought if it did not work out could always return it. When it arrived everything was in the kit to put the creche together. I am not a good person for assembling but found this very basic and in no time it was assembled.
My mother suggested adding straw to the inside of the creche which lent just the right atmosphere. I am completely delighted with both my creche and the nativity set I purchased from QVC. They complemented each other so well, that you would have thought that they belonged together. The interior is a bit dark, but I strung a small strand of while lights over the creche and around the exterior. It looks wonderful. Thanks QVC and Linda Dano.

The Perfect Creche
I've always wanted a creche for my Willow Tree Nativity figurines but could never bring myself to buy the one made for the set (too large). This one is absolutely perfect! I had it assembled in 10 minutes & actually found the included screwdriver quite helpful. The only bummer is that my mom now wants one to replace her Willow Tree creche & they are on "Waitlist."

"The" Creche To Have
Count me in - I love it too! It happens to be the perfect design! I liked Linda's Nativity figures also, but had already purchased a set (one that reminded me so much of my hometown's outdoor Nativity).
The two are great together! (Wish it were possible to insert a photo!) It holds all eleven figures beautifully. The material is of good quality, and I even enjoyed putting it together. Definately a wink to Frank!
It seems this creche has a way of completing many Nativity scenes! We just love ours!

I love this.....
I love this creche - I'm using it for a barn for some of my miniature critters. It really is simple to put together. Only one suggestion - either don't include the screw driver that's in the package or put one in that's a bit larger. It's difficult to turn with such a small handle and a small philips head end. If the holes don't match, keep on turning the screw - the wood is soft and it should take even without a hole or with a hole that's a bit small.

cute but less than what I expected or wanted
It's cute but it's too small to hold all the pieces for the nativity scene. It is not difficult to assemble but not as easy as said. Overall, not really happy with it. I am debating a return,

Christmas Tree is Now Complete
I put this creche under our tree today. It is simply stunning. I have been looking for a creche just like this one for a very long time. It is so realistic and it was easy to assemble. We will enjoy this creche for years to come.

THE FEELING AND MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS
Put up my creche today. I assembled it by myself. I placed this on top of my cherry wood tea table, partially draped the table in midnight blue velvet. Used 2 strings of the Bethlehem mini battery powered lights around and inside the creche. I already had Valerie Parr Hill's nativity set. The presence of the set is stunning. Definitely "Old World". My home is a federal/colonial style and I can't stop looking at it. THE CRECHE IS SO AUTHENTIC LOOKING. I love everything about it. You may have to move a couple of the screws, but no big deal.

Exactly what I've been searching for...but
I have been searching for years for a large creche that will work with the
Nativity figurines I have. This one is the perfect size/scale. Thank you.
However, none of the holes were drilled in the proper places to allow
for assembly. Luckily, my husband is very good with tools and was
able to drill new holes in the correct places and was able to put it together.
I was hoping that I would be able to disassemble it and store it flat,
but hubby strongly suggested against that idea. Because of the assembly
issues I only gave this item 3 stars.

A perfecy Holiday Keepsake
Just recieved my Creche today and loved it. Its perfect for my Nativity. I have been looking for one of these for a while now and thanks to Linda Dano and QVC , I now have what I needed to complete my Nativity scene. I will treasure this item for ever. The craftsmanship on this Creche is perfect and beautiful as well. Looking at this with my nativity set really reminds me of the true meaning of Christmas. I would have loved to have been able to thank Linda in person for her ideas...but since I cant , "Thank You Linda and lots of love to you and QVC for making my home feel so special around the Holidays". And when people ask where did I get this creche....I will send them your way. Best wishes to you all this Holiday season.
