"Trisha's Table" Cookbook by Trisha Yearwood is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT BOOK - LOVE TRISHA This is an excellent cookbook. Love all the pictures accompanying each dish - it's great to see what you're preparing ahead of time. Another feature is the homage she pays to anyone contributing to the book, her friends and family. I've had several of these dishes and each one has not been a disappointment. Had her sign mine recently. Don't understand any of the low ratings from others - get this book, you'll like it too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Big Disappointment My review is exactly like the first one. Boring recipes and not like most recipes she has on her show... and nothing I want to try. I did not look through this real good until it was too late to send back. Goes in the give away pile. I fell for the hype and was such a disappointment.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed I was hoping this cookbook would feature recipes from Trisha's show, but there isn't anything in this book that I would cook. I wish it wasn't too late to return.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EVERDAY Cookbook I have a rather large cookbook collection that I am now "weeding" out. I own all Trisha's cookbooks and they are staying. No, this is not a diet cookbook but about small changes and home cooking. Her recipes are "do-able" Not a lot of "exotic" ingredients. She gives tips in this book on how she and Garth have improved their health which I found motivating.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from trisha's table I feel the book was mis represented...I thought it was down home cookin' like Mama used to make..this book has ingredients I have never heard of...I would return it except I don't want to pay the shipping and handling twice...Love Trisha, but disappointed in the book

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Two stars for the effort in writing the book Led astray again by the presentation (by David) in that this was a book that helped Trisha slim down by modifying her family recipes. The book is very basic .... I don't like the fact that Trisha uses so much butter, sugars, and flour in almost every recipe in this book. I realize I can compensate differently - but I thought I was getting a fresh take on southern cooking. I love southern cooking therefore - the reason I purchased the book thinking I would get a healthy, fresh approach. Disappointed.
