Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great book I purchased this book from another web site because of the price. In my opinion, anything from America’s Test Kitchen is worth the price. I recommend this book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well worth the price! I was so excited to receive this book and I wasn’t disappointed! So, far my husband and I have cooked the chicken vesuvio and turkey chili and both were very delicious! I like the fact that some recipes like the chicken vesuvio, which requires 2 chicken breasts and red potatoes is enough for 2 meals while other recipes like the turkey chili is enough for 4 servings, just enough for leftovers but not too many leftovers where you grow tired of it. I had been using the internet for recipes for two but it was always a hit or miss and ingredients went to waste at times. I was sold on the fact these recipes have been tested many many times by experts and underwent scrutiny before it was deemed well enough to recommend. Gone are the days of also trying to half recipes that weren’t meant to be halved and ruining a meal. This book even has slow cooker recipes for two! Love it!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful! Just got the book this week and have read through it twice. It would have been wonderful when I was a new wife 48 years ago, now it is going to train me to cook for only two.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great book by two of my favorites!!!!! I am a huge fan of America's Test Kitchen. I love that someone who's not me does all of the experimenting and testing to bring me great recipes. I don't actually cook for two, I cook for one. These recipes (especially the lasagna recipe) give me enough food for two or three meals. I don't feel the need to cut down these recipes, and they are so tasty. Good job, Bridget and Julia!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy for Two This cookbook is one of the best ever. I'm one of those people who read a cookbook from cover to cover just like a regular book and I enjoyed this one very much. The rules are so very easy to follow and are yummy most every type dishes that down home people can eat and would enjoy. Often times there are just a few rules in the whole book that are worth making but that'd not the case with this book. Also, I love the measurement tables and conversion tables, so handy..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hefty This is the heaviest cookbook I’ve ever seen. The cover is hard and strong. The pages are thick and the ink is dark. It even has a built in ribbon book marker. Excellent recipes and side info. Nice illustrations. Well written. Winner, winner.
