Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delicious, Easy, Wonderful! I decided I wanted to use my Crock Pot more and was happy to see this book on QVC. My husband and I make a recipe out of this book once a week. We've made 15 recipes so far and have been very pleased. I would recommend adding this to your cookbook collection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can I get an 'Amen'?!? I don't consider myself a hard-core 'foodie' but I absolutely LOVE this cookbook! Delicious, healthy, easy recipes. So far 3 recipes down, all a huge success - in fact, my mom gave my 2YO nephew a 'snitch' of the pot roast and gravy - he did his own little 'happy dance'...I could barely stand it! Now THAT is the best compliment ever! Anxious to try more recipes... PS - thank you for using Premium Binding - the book truly stays open on whatever page you're on and is hands free - yay!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from asty recipes made with real, fresh ingredients! Since receiving it, this has become my go-to cookbook for getting family dinners on the table while using unprocessed, real food ingredients! I've made two or three new recipes from this cookbook per week, and they've all been a hit with my hubby and kids. If you are expecting a cookbook where the recipes take 5 minutes of prep and only a few ingredients, this probably isn't the cookbook for you. These recipes involve more than a can of condensed soup, a hunk of meat, and a gravy packet. The ones I've made so far took anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes to get into the crock pot (and sometimes I prep ingredients the night before so I can just throw everything in in the morning), and preparation usually involves trimming meat, chopping veggies, measuring out seasonings, or sometimes making a simple sauce. Some of the ingredient lists are longer than others because various herbs and spices are used, but I think that's what makes these recipes turn out so flavorful. The recipes are not difficult or complicated, however, and I think that a little bit of extra effort is well worth a slow cooker meal made from fresh ingredients that doesn't end up tasting like mush. The cookbook is filled with classic, family-friendly, comfort food recipes -- pot roast, meatballs, meatloaf, pork chops, shepherd's pie, baby-back ribs, lasagna, chicken pot pie soup, cheeseburger soup, chicken & dumplings, chili, and tacos, to name a few. The cookbook also includes more "exotic" recipes for those who crave something a little bit different, such as Indian Butter Chicken, Paella, Beef Bourguignon, Thai Shrimp Soup, Chicken Gyros, and Korean BBQ Pork Wraps. I have not had a hard time finding any of the ingredients at my regular grocery store. I am very happy with this cookbook. It's motivated me to make new things for dinner, I feel good about what I'm feeding my family, and the recipes fit into my busy schedule. Best of all, my family has already requested that many of these recipes go into our regular dinner rotation!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not What I Expected So these recipes are complex, with MANY ingredients. We have tried three, followed to a T and all were not so great. I thought her family ate these?? My kids hated all three. I had to go to three large grocery stores to find some of the ingredients. I am sending it back. Not willing to try anymore recipes for me to have to throw food away.
