Very BadVery bad choice for anyone in the U.S. Mostly English dishes that use ingredients we would never eat. Lots of fish. Strange recipes. Going in the garbage.

One in a ThousandWhat a great book. There are so many cookbooks out there, but as both a cook and a cookbook collector I throughly recommend Tom's book. I love the format and the personal notes, so friendly. This one is written by real home cook, not a lofty chef. Tom's recipes are really easy to follow and produce great food. (I thought I had the best recipe for a Ragu on the planet) but Tom's has blown mine away. Just make it and you will agree. I also loved the Romaine and haddock salad and the Peas and pancetta, so simple but so good. If you have a recipe for Sticky toffee pudding, throw it away and try this one OMG. I have only had this book for a few days, but I haven't been this excited by a cookbook for a long time. I am so looking forward to trying more of Toms, recipes. This book would make a great gift for so many people. Ten stars at least.
