Rated 1 out of 5 by from Diabetic cookbook, are you kidding So many of the recipes are loaded with carbs or portion size for amount of carbs is so small. I manage my diabetes always staying in normal glucose levels 80 to 130. A lot of recipes in this book would raise my A1C. Returning!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from way too spicy almost every recipe has some spice and chile peppers in it. No way this is for diabetics.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Good For Diabetics! I ordered this book with high hopes! I am a new type 2 diabetic. Ironically,, I am a very fit size 2. I was excited to receive this book because, I needed some variety, in what is now a very limited diet. After several minutes of flipping through this book, I was extremely dismayed. Yes, the nutritional information is clearly listed. But so are diabetic exchanges. First of all, NO ONE uses diabetic exchanges anymore. Diabetics must simply limit their carb intake. Yet, in reviewing the recipes in this book, most of the foods are LOADED with carbs, white flour, and sugar. Newsflash for you guys!! Diabetics should not have pasta!! I was a huge fan of your magazines and cook books before my life as a diabetic. But this cook book is just a bummer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks Fantastic This cookbook is just as nice as others I have purchased from Taste of Home. Pictures are beautiful and its made well. My husband and I need to cut back on sugar so this book is timely for us. If the free magazine is included - I love the articles about cooks and the new editor, Emily. She has a sweet way about her and loves to cook, and it shows in her articles.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from MISLEADING I purchased this cookbook because I want to monitor my sugar and carb intake. These recipes are terribly high in both and feel this should be reviewed by a dietician. Per doctor's advice, this is dangerous to diabetics and needs to be returned

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for diabetics I agree with the other reviews! Way too many carbs per reciepe! Seems to me they are more worried about fat than carbs. These seem to be written by someone who uses the old standards pushed on diabetics in the hospital ect:
