Chef Williams (2) 3.5-4 lb. Roasted & Fried Boneless Turkey Breasts
Not the same
I have ordered these fried turkey breasts before and was very satisfied. It has helped make sure I had a bit more than our whole turkey.
This time was VERY different. The meat was dark, with lines throughout the entire breast.
It looked like a processed loaf. It was tender, but had a strange taste. I was embarrassed to serve it. What happened?
Not Very Good
Very salty, full of water, not worth the $, This will not be served for Christmas, A very expensive mistake!
I purchased one of this brand several years ago , and was very pleased, what happened, can't believe you call this turkey, certainly didn't taste anything like turkey. Will be going to the store and buy a REAL TURKEY! Save your money.
CREOLE BUTTER ONLY
just a heads-up for those who have not ordered and for those who were dissatisfied--the CREOLE BUTTER flavor is truly tasty...sadly, i ordered a garlic/herb flavored breast for turkey day...oh, my...do not confuse this with the oh so yummy kansas city garlic&herb ribeyes that were delish...it doesn't work on the turkey breast...at least, not to my taste buds...but the 'original' CREOLE BUTTER flavored breast is very very tasty both right from the oven and as cold leftovers from the fridge
This is the first time I served Chef Williams turkey and it won't be my last. I purchased the garlic and herb turkey and took it to share with a family of 7. We cut it in huge portions and had plenty left when the dinner was over. Their were several children at the table. I think it is a known fact that they are honest because they don't understand what we adults call "White lies." or "Tact". With this said, when I received compliments about the turkey I knew they meant it. Everyone was asking where I got it and I didn't tell them because I wanted to make sure I could share this with them again. The meat was tender and moist. The marinade was light and airy and it brought out the flavor of the meat perfectly.
Very expensive lunch meat.
I was really looking forward to serving this at Thanksgiving. I was so embarrassed when not one person would eat it. It was so salty, and that was the only seasoning I could taste. It was obviously pressed pieces of processed meat, and you could see pieces of dark meat. I ended up serving a dinner with no turkey. So now what to do with the second one. I can't even feed it to my dog, due to the amount of salt. Guess I'll just pitch it and never order food online again. Lesson learned.
Who Ate The Turkey
I planned on serving this for Thanksgiving with a ham. However, while carving, the turkey mysteriously disappeared. Evidently 'not me' ate it. The ham stood alone for dinner. Everyone raved about the taste and moistness of the turkey and wanted more. I guess I should have prepared both turkeys. So easy to prepare. Will definitely order again.
I just prepared one of the turkey breasts today and I loved it. The flavor is amazing. I don't think that I will be buying another turkey from the grocery store any more.
Worst Turkey Breast Ever Purchased
Purchased for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Turkey looked grey in color. No one liked the taste or color. Trashed.
In Love With My Turkey
Best Turkey breast I've ever had. My family's in love Too!!! :-)
What kind of meat was this?
Soooo disappointed! It was moist but not turkey. Must have been some kind of processed stuff. Terrible taste, and so much for my Thanksgiving :-(
Such high hopes. Our Thanksgiving was sad because no one would eat this so there was no turkey.. People actually called this turkey breast the worst meat they had ever tasted, almost everyone. It is very salty and the texture was just weird. I would have been better off buying deli meat. We did not enjoy.
