Perricone MD Neuropeptide Facial Cream 2.5 oz.
love this product
I purchased this product when it was a TSV along with the moisturizer. I was using Perricone Formula 15 and the moisturizer prior to that along with another anti aging product from another brand. I actually ran out of the other brand and noticed that my skin showed an immediate improvement while using only the Perricone products. It was good before but I got an even better result only using Perricone. So I introduced this cream to my daily routine and my skin looks fantastic. Had deep creases from the corner of my lips to my chin and they are almost gone. Overall color and firming has dramatically improved using only Perricone and adding this product. It is pricey but a little goes a long way.
One thing I want to comment on is there is confusion with what is said during the presentations, the directions here and the directions included with the product. I always did put it all over my face but the directions with the product say to put it where you want to create contour. Forget that, put it all over.
Fresh from the Sea!
If you want to smell like dead fish, then this cream is for you. I don't know what in the world is in it, maybe fish oil? I really can't speak to its efficacy because I only used it once before I mailed it back. The smell is supposed to dissipate; however, it definitely does NOT. My husband actually left the bed and went to sleep on the couch. I washed my sheets and pillow cases the next day because they were funky. Its too bad because I really like the Perricone products that do not smell. I couldn't justify this extreme price for a cream that I was going to let sit in my drawer. This one was just gross. YUCK!
Doesn't work immediately
You have to give it more time. And yes there is a smell but goes away and around 30 seconds. It is written in the description and they do mention it on air too! People shouldn't rate this cream on the smell they should rate it how it works on your beautiful face. The smell is one of the ingredients and I wouldn't want them to decrease that powerful ingredient.
Loaded with Paraben
I was so excited to receive this but it was loaded with many kind of parabens. So many companies are taking the parabens out of their products. I wish Dr. Perricone would make all of his products paraben free. However, I absolutely love OVM and I'm looking forward to getting his new product the Hyalo Plasma.
Worse purchase ever made
The smell is so bad. I will not reorder this product. But gave it a chance and can not use it ,when you put it on you can smell it after words .
Scent isn't a problem
I don't know why so many people talk about the scent. It doesn't have much of a scent to me. It seems to help my skin, but I need to give it more time to be sure. I also use the nutritive cleanser and really like it.
How can a product smell so awful??
I believed all the QVC gals who called this face cream "the Gold Standard" in creams, yet they must have been wearing nose plugs as they used it!
This cream has such a terrible odor that was extremely difficult to overcome, so much so that I returned the product . I would like to know what exactly is in this product to make it smell so foul and I am certain that I don't want anything that smells that bad on my face.
If they can put a man on the moon; how is it they can't make this smell better. I have to steel myself to put it on. It does dissipate a little but I get whiffs of it all day and hope others can't smell it. I have to cover it up with other moisturizers that have a nice odor. That's a lot of $$$ going on my face. That said, I have been using it once a day (can't bear 2x) and I see a little improvement in my skin. I will give it another week or so and if I don't look 10 years younger (haha)- I'm afraid we will have to part ways. The moisturizer that came with it as part of TSV is nice.
It didn't diminish even fine lines or wrinkles. If it worked I could justify the cost but I saw no improvement even when using it with neuropeptide moisturizer. I'm 60 and will use his cold plasma creams again. They did make a difference!
BAD fish smell!
I always thought I would like to try this line, but could never get over the cost. I got this cream in a QVC discovery kit an this came in a .50 oz jar in that kit. I put it on my face and I literally had to wash it off! The smell was so bad, I was sure it was spoiled. Then I read the reviews on QVC. It seems that this smell is normal for this cream. I am not willing to put up with the odor in hopes of getting any results. I think the odor issue should be disclosed on the air when the product is being demonstrated. I will keep buying the other brands on QVC.
I can't handle the smell.
I was excited to get this product. But, paying a hefty sum for the smell of rotting fish is not my idea of a good buy. Good grief! For paying so much money, it should not smell like a garbage can. Apparently, money can't buy a good smelling product. I'm sending it all back.
The cream is more like a liquid. The presentation showed it as a cream. I am using it as I truly do see a bit of a difference; however, I am going to give it the 30 days before deciding. I have used Dr. Denese for the past year and have been very satisfied. I am wondering if the price reduction was due to an issue with the cream???
