Soft, Soft, Soft! This is an excellent brush for makeup application. It has extremely soft bristles, but are tightly bunched, so firm enough for applications of foundation. I am using this for powder foundation, but could use it potentially for the amazonian foundation if I had to. The Tarte Amazonian foundation is ~ 35.00 for the foundation and one of the largest, softest brushes that is amazing. That duo is worth every cent - just know the foundation is a bit lighter than normal, but applies beautifully. This brush applies very evenly for the powder foundation and is definitely quality - wll last! 10-29-11
