Make believe in yourself with this metallic shadow and highlighter palette from tarte. The hypnotic shades can be layered with the matte base and the strobing eye and cheek highlighter for a multi-faceted, fairy-like glow. With Amazonian clay and mineral pigments, the silky-soft, enchanting formula blends to a fine long-wearing finish.

How do I use it: Use your favorite eye shadow brush to cover lids with the matte nude base and then define the eyelid and crease with the hypnotic metallic shades. Use the lighter shadows to awaken the inner corner and brow bone--or you can dab them onto the center lid to make your eyes pop. Use the full-size eye and cheek highlighter to spotlight the top of cheekbones for a finished fairytale look.

tarteist tip: These shadows work amazing as eyeliner shades so you can use them to pull off that mesmerizing metallic trend on the upper and lower lash line.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from For the younger set I feel this pallet is very pretty, but I also feel it's a set for the young. The color's are quite nice but I didn't care for the glitter or the granular texture of the shadows that made many color's hard to apply unless using your finger, and that makes presice application very difficult! The majority of shadows have glitter with the exception of two or so. The center highlighter is a sort of opalescent white that shifts to pink, however, it's very chalky! Laura geller's diamond dust is almost identical in color but is much better quality and doesn't include Talc, something Tarte has been using more often. I bought this pallet directly from Tarte as soon as it realesed because I loved the color range, honestly it was a BIG REGRET! I'm 50 and I feel this pallet geared toward teens or younger women that pull of glitter easily, I kind of felt duped because the glitter isn't very apparent from looking at the photos. I think I used this all of twice before giving it away to a much younger cousin. I Just want folks to know what I didn't. Then you can make an educated choice, hope it helps. I would recommend this if you're young or looking for a gift for someone younger.
